We’ve officially opened the doors to our new regional headquarters in Wall, Lichfield - a BREEAM-excellent workspace which brings together more than 50 team members and is set up to support our next stage of growth across the region. The building

The new 18,500 square foot, two-storey building has capacity to train and develop further employees and has been designed with sustainability at its core. The building includes:

👉 20 electric vehicle charging points
👉 Permeable paving
👉 Sustainable urban drainage system

Keys first, passport second! 🔑⛰️ Huge congratulations to .bewdley.bybloorhomes who completed on their new Bloor home this summer, just before setting off on their travels to Norway. What a way to celebrate getting the keys! 🎉

Now back, we caught up with our new homeowners to find out what led them to buying at Bloor Homes at Mindenhurst, Surrey, and what it was about The Bewdley that caught their eye:

"What led me to buying the Bloor house was that after viewing other new build developers such as Taylor Wimpey, Cala, etc, Bloor homes just felt better built, had better interiors, and just felt like home.

"The Bewdley was the happiest mix of a large and medium size house, and with 4-bedrooms, a nice size kitchen / diner, and we ABSOLUTELY love the massive living room. Having a decent size garden, a big garage and private drive also swayed our decision.

"Another reason was that although a lot of other more established, older homes in Surrey were desirable, the lack of having to renovate was a massive pull.

"Living in a new build neighbourhood also brings excitement of what will come and what could happen to the area - in a good way!"

Celebrating the end of school on a high! 🎉 Ravensdale Junior School in Mickleover were recently awarded a £250 donation from our Cromwell Orchard Community Fund and used it to help transform a new garden area into a calm, welcoming outdoor space for its pupils. 🏆🌿

The space will not only create a peaceful sanctuary for children, it will also support the wellbeing and development of every child, providing opportunities for pupils to play an active role in planting, watering and nurturing the garden.

But it’s not just the pupils who can enjoy this space, Ravensdale Junior School currently hosts holiday clubs and after-school activities that are open to children from across the local area, meaning the space will be enjoyed by far more than just the school's own pupils.

Homeowner spotlight 🌟 Today, we're shining a light on the Wild-Cross family who relocated to Stowmarket recently and are now living happily in their 4-bed new Bloor Wyatt! 🏡

First home decisions... new build or reno? 🏡 Natalia and her husband were debating whether to buy a new build or a renovation project for their first home, but with a little one on their way and an unexpected trip to Thorsten Fields in Congleton, their decision was promptly made!

Natalia shares their story:

"We had been debating for ages whether to get a new build or a renovation project, then a random day last summer we came to view the Thorsten Fields development and showhomes and loved it.

"I was pregnant at the time so the work involved for a renovation project and our complete and utter lack of knowledge started to make it less of a reality. Having somewhere we have been able to move into which is all done and just needs decoration with a new baby has been amazing!

"The process whilst I was pregnant was smooth and Damon and Julie were always so helpful in reassuring us that they were just a phone call away, and were there whenever we needed to ask questions or get advice.

"We love the green space around the development (Thorsten Fields) and the lovely public footpath we have on our doorstep, with a hut where a florist lays beautiful fresh flowers every weekend to buy. 💛

"As first time buyers and new parents, it’s been a lovely new space and we can’t wait for the years to come in our Bloor Lyford!"

🏡 From new build nightmare to dream home. Meet first time buyers, Lo and Anna - their first home journey didn't begin with Bloor, but we were happy to become their Plan B!

Lo and Anna had a rocky start to their first home journey with a different housebuilder and we're pleased to share that their Bloor experience has been much more positive. Anna explains:

"Honestly, the main thing we noticed (which we really did not get from the previous builder) was the strong communication and customer service! It’s was top notch. From the very moment we reserved to collecting our keys it was completely smooth sailing and no question or query was ever too much trouble!

"The second thing that really stood out was the quality of the build compared to the house we were meant to end up living in… just the attention to detail really blew us away. For example, when seeing the house during the first fix viewing we noticed the doors were padded, radiators covered, taps covered, cupboards covered, etc. This was never done for us on our previous property!

"We could tell Bloor really do care."

Now moved in and looking ahead, Lo and Anna are truly embracing their new chapter in their Bloor home:

"We’re enjoying every single thing about our home, but if we were to choose our favourite, it would most likely be the kitchen. We’re loving how spacious it is with the little utility area - we never thought we’d have a kitchen so big for our first home, let alone a utility!

"Outside of the home we also have a stunning view of the nature reserve with no houses overlooking and it’s such a calm place to be. We feel super lucky!"

It's a big year ✨ for Ben and Cait... they've just bought their first home aged just 21 and 24! 🏡

Now officially homeowners, they're loving life in their new 3-bed Kilburn, and it's been great to catch up with them and hear about their Bloor journey so far. They've even introduced a new member to their family, swipe to meet Miss Margot! 🐶

There's no denying that their Bloor journey has been super quick, but that doesn't mean our standards changed. Tisbin explains:
