Northern Road Relay Championships 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Well done to our three Senior teams who represented Elswick at the highly competitive Northern 6/4 Stage Relays this weekend! Shoutout to our ladies, who not only placed a very impressive 12th, were the first North East club to cross the line - congratulations! 👏

🥇 Ladies: 12th overall & 1st NE club
👏 Men’s A/Senior: 43rd overall
💪 Men’s B/Vets: 7th overall

Thank you to our Elswick member for sharing his None to Run story ahead of completing the GNR on Sunday.

Our next None to Run kicks off in September. A fully inclusive 12-week programme, working towards completing a 5K together. No matter the pace, we’ll get you through it.

🎊 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🎊

50 Elswick Harriers took on the famous 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields, with even more cheering on from the sidelines. ❤️🤍

There’s nothing quite like Newcastle on Great North Run weekend. From the GN5k on Friday and the little ones taking part in the Junior Run on Saturday, to first time half-marathoners, personal goals and running for charities close to our hearts - it’s a weekend full of achievement, pride and community.

Congratulations to everyone who took part! You should all be incredibly proud of yourself.

Our next None to Run programme kicks off Tuesday 22nd September at Newburn Activity Centre — and it’s completely FREE.
