🥇 NEMAA Open Road Relays 2026 🥇

Double win for the Elswick Ladies, with our F35 team Gillian Manford, Maria Catterall and Rachel Dodds taking gold with an impressive 20s lead 🏆 Close behind in 4th overall, the 1st F45 team of the day: Felicity Smith, Mary Hall and Justina Heslop (who was also the fastest leg of the day) delivered a brilliant run.

Huge well done to all our men’s and women’s teams on the day - fantastic effort all round!🌟

🏃‍♂️Elswick Harriers Steeplechase and Throws Festival - 02/05🏃‍♂️
We had a great time hosting our England Athletics sponsored event, the Steeplechase and Throws festival at Wentworth track, Hexham. Thanks for the great turnout and well done to everyone who competed! We have some great action shots from Peter Venus - Results and picture links will be available in the comments on our page.

Celebrating our April marathoners 🏃‍♂️❤️🤍

Boston Marathon: Luke Hilliard smashed a 6 minute PB, finishing in 2:24 and securing an outstanding 113th place in the men’s field.

London Marathon: Three Elswick Harriers proudly represented the red and white vests - Debbie Spoor in 3:55 (despite injury leading up to the race!), Joe Horner in 3:16, and Paul Taylor in 3:21.

Manchester Marathon: Sisters Becca and Vicky took on the streets of Manchester, delivering fantastic performances with times of 4:09 and 5:55 respectively.

Paris Marathon: Three of our Elswick men took part in Paris Marathon. Mark Turnbull, Jason Old and Mark Graham all finished with very impressive times of 2:54, 3:11 and 3:14 respectively, also congrats to Mark Graham who made his marathon debut (and a great one at that!)

Reaching the start line of a marathon takes immense dedication, discipline, and resilience. Every one of you should be incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved.

Port of Blyth 10k 2026⚓️🤩
Great to see so many of the team out for the Port of Blyth 10k, the second of the NECAA road running series and our first Club Championship 10k of the year. Great runs all round, a special mention to Dan Milton, Imogen Bungay and Maria Catterall for placing top 10! Well done! 🙌
