Friday's food fix @ LP😋
Excited to announce we will be busting bagels again at Wideopen Football Club this Friday over at Lockey Park!
Last time out the bagels went down a treat so get yourself down for our tasty classics! We will be open to the public for walk-ins as well as those attending the sessions.

As mentioned at presentation day, this is a huge year for us. We are in consultation phase for a potential 11v11 4G pitch which would benefit the community for generations. To make this possible, we need to raise around £40,000 in the next 12 months.

Help Build Our New 11v11 4G Pitch - £40,000 Community Fundraiser We're raising £40,000 towards a new 11v11 4G pitch that will transform football opportunities in our community. The pitch will provide year-round access, support the growth of girls' and boys' football and create a lasting legacy for our community.

With the annual football presentations now concluded for another year, the club would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making each of the 5 sessions across 2 days such a success including the players, parents, families & friends andnot forgetting all of the teams Sponsors🙏⚽️
Special thanks go to Dave Swan (Secretary) for organising the event over the two days — from securing the venue, ordering over 860 trophies, to coordinating just under 60 teams and 600 players, such an outstanding achievement 👏
Thank you to Paul Leadbitter for providing the music across several sessions, helping to create a great atmosphere in the sessions 🎵
Appreciation also goes to Dean Wheatley and Simon Johnson for pulling together the excellent presentation shown on the big screens 👏👏
Sincere thanks to Mick Fawcett (Chairman) and John Stephenson (President) for also delivering their speeches across all five sessions — your contributions were greatly valued 💪
Massive thanks to Danielle and the Parents Committee for manning the door for every session, selling raffle tickets and also collecting raffle donations 🫶
And we mustn't forget all of the hard work from the Committee who run the club behind the scenes, it's not easy and they are desperate for help, please reach out if you would like to help with some administrative tasks 🙏
On top of presenting all of the players trophies, the John Harbottle Community Award is a very prestigious one at that and this year it was presented to Stephane Bommel - Headteacher @ Hazelwood Community School, please see video below 👏👏
