Tight first half we were a bit slow getting going but went into a 4-1 lead and pretty comfortable then conceded two quick goals. Wakeham made two very good saves to keep us in it then we saw the game out
Good to see a few new lads make their debuts too
Into the hat for the next rd back to league action next week against Spencer boys

Not an easy game against a young side that worked and ran for everything but two good finishes and an unfortunate OG got us through
Credit to the boys who dug in when we had a small squad today and an early injury
Onto a cup game next week

Mill st 1-5 Newport Eagles Yellow

Og
Mikey/Wakeham 🏆

Well not much positives out of this to be fair but take nothing away from eagles they were more up for it, sharper and took their goals very well
We can do a lot better that’s a really bad day for us no getting away from it. Same basic mistakes costing us goals and we were our own worst enemy at times
Big improvement needed for next week

Disappointing result against a not surprisingly strong Villa dino side
But still need to improve on the same mistakes but it’s early days
An entertaining game for the people watching no doubt. Hopefully it’s less entertaining for them next time

Made it difficult for ourselves at times and still a few things need ironing out. Credit to Afon valley they worked hard and made it difficult in humid conditions but we got the job done some nice goals in there too
Finally first game done and we’re up and running with a win

Huge thank you again to Mo's Boxing and Fitness Academy for putting on a session for us tonight 🥊
As always a great session and put the boys through their paces!
Can’t wait until next week!

Can’t recommend highly enough Mo as a trainer, as a person, or his gym in general.
Anyone, men or women, all welcome ,there’s a massive range of classes and access to a really welcoming atmosphere to get involved in boxing or just some great fitness 🥊

Thank you everyone involved with the club and team throughout the season that allows us to enjoy playing every week
One more game to go and it’s preparation for next season
