“We are incredibly grateful for the support; this will and has really helped Darcey and us race as a family, and continue to enjoy our cycling.”

The GTCT is thrilled to have supported Darcey Theobald participate and gather valuable experience across cyclo-cross, cross-country MTB and circuit racing over recent months.

The grant has contributed to Darcey enjoying a fantastic season of cycle racing, achieving several race wins and podium finishes, including a third-placed finish at the Welsh MTB XC Championships series as a first year U12s (pictured).

“She continues to grow in confidence, fitness and skills with every event,” said her father. “She is thoroughly enjoying the opportunities the grant has provided and is looking forward to the remainder of the season.

“Thank you once again for investing in young riders like Darcey.”

The Geraint Thomas Cycling Trust has provided a grant to Pedal Power Cardiff to support with inclusive cycling provision through the holidays!

"Big thanks to the GTCT, and we’ll make sure that their grant makes a real difference by giving 60 free Pedal Power annual memberships to disabled young people, giving them access our inclusive cycling services,” stated Sam Farnfield, Director at Cardiff Pedal Power.
