This time last week we were celebrating another grading at Taran Tek. Including 3 students reaching black tag!

We have reached the end of ‘6 weeks to splits’.

A club initiative to encourage students to stretch and improve their flexibility.

As you can see, a huge improvement was made and students are getting very close!

Keep up the stretching! You’ll reach the floor in no time 🤩

This year the St. Newlyn East club have entered the annual village scarecrow competition.

We are almost half way though our 6 weeks to splits calendar!

This is a club initiative to motivate our students to participate in daily stretching at home to increase their flexibility over the summer holidays.

There’s even prizes for the most dedicated students 🥳

Today is the start of the Taran Tek 6 weeks to splits!

All of our instructors have been handing out these calendars which helps students keep track of their daily stretching.

By the end of the 6 weeks we hope to see an improvement in flexibility and maybe even reaching the splits!

A massive thank you to Mr B for running our sparring session on Sunday.

We had a great turn out with lots of kicking drills and sparring practice. This was a great opportunity to students to get together and focus on their sparring skills 👊

We are so lucky to be able to run sessions like this for free for our students. Another session is hopefully coming later this year 😁
