🌊 What an incredible day at Camlough Lake! 🌊

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the second Annual CALL TELL THROW Water Safety Awareness Event.

Today was a fantastic example of what can be achieved when our community comes together with one shared goal – saving lives through education and awareness.

Families, children and visitors had the opportunity to learn vital water safety skills, practise lifesaving techniques, explore rescue equipment and hear from the dedicated professionals and volunteers who work tirelessly to keep our waters safe.

All registration takes place in Rostrevor.
Swimmers are asked to arrange their own transport for clothes and belongings.
We encourage car pooling where possible.

A package arrived from Northern Ireland.

Inside was a swim cap, a commemorative pin, and the official certificate recognizing my successful crossing of the North Channel from Ireland to Scotland.

While these items are special, what they truly represent is so much bigger than a swim.

They represent the people of Northern Ireland who welcomed Kelly, Herschel and me with open arms and made us feel like family.

They represent the legendary Chunky Dunkers, who show up year after year to cheer on swimmers chasing a dream that most people will never fully understand. Your encouragement, laughter, and community are part of what makes the North Channel so special.

They represent Infinity, whose support behind the scenes helped make this journey possible in ways many people will never see or fully know. We are deeply grateful.

They represent every prayer warrior who stood with us before, during, and after the swim. Every message. Every prayer. Every word of encouragement mattered.

They represent every person who believed in the North Channel episode of our Beyond the Shoreline docu-series and helped us fund the expedition, filming, and storytelling. Because of you, this story will reach far beyond the shores of Ireland and Scotland.

Most of all, this package represents a lesson I will never forget.

In 2024, the North Channel humbled me. The swim ended before I reached Scotland. I left with disappointment, questions, and unfinished business.

In 2025, I returned.

Not because I was guaranteed success, but because some journeys require us to become a different person before we are ready to finish them.

This certificate is not a reminder of a single day in the water.

It is a reminder of friendship.
It is a reminder of community.
It is a reminder of perseverance.
It is a reminder of faith.

We are blessed beyond measure.

Thank you to everyone who played a role in this chapter of the journey. You helped turn a dream into reality, and you helped tell a story that proves there is life after addiction, purpose after pain, and hope beyond the shoreline.
