Eleven took to the start line for our final Evening 10 of the season on the 'sporting' Dartington course. Unfortunately a few riders were held up by buses & lorries but there were still some quick times.
Quickest on the night was Tristan Kelllsall-Spurr ahead of Liam Jordan 2nd & Shaun Davey, of the host club in 3rd place. First female was Laraine Gibbins. A big thank you to our marshalls Gerry Connolly and Andy Holmes.
Full results here - https://www.webscorer.com/race?raceid=445823 We had a couple of gremlins with our timing system so the Strava segment for the course may be a better guide to your current form! (nb the strava segment is slightly shorter than the 10 course we use)

Race results: Dartington 10 No 3 @ Dartington, United Kingdom. Wednesday, September 2, 2026 19:01 (GMT+1)

onquering Dartmoor: Haytor & Widecombe Hill 🚴‍♂️⛰️

Two of Dartmoor's most iconic climbs, each with its own challenge.

Haytor is the classic test of endurance. A long, steady ascent climbing over 350m with breathtaking views across the moor. It's a climb that rewards patience, resilience, and strong legs.

Widecombe Hill, on the other hand, is short, sharp, and unforgiving. With gradients reaching up to 20%, it demands everything you've got from the first pedal stroke to the summit. It's no wonder it has become a legendary hill climb course.

Together, these climbs represent the very best of cycling on Dartmoor. Whether you're chasing a personal best!!
