Saturday’s Sprint Competition at Corby was a great success!

We were delighted to have swimmers attending who have recently progressed from our Development Gala programme into their first full-scale competition at Corby International Pool.

With the support and guidance of some of our senior swimmers, they settled in really well and were shown how everything works, from the warm-up process through to race preparation, and everything in between. Our junior swimmers took it all in their stride and produced some amazing personal best times! πŸ‘

This experience has been invaluable, giving each swimmer the opportunity to build confidence, recognise their own abilities and potential, and experience what it’s like to compete in a larger competition environment.

A huge well done to all of our swimmers for their fantastic efforts, and a big thank you to our senior swimmers and coaches for their support and encouragement. πŸ’™

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part and look forward to seeing where this experience takes them next! πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

If your child misses a lesson, you may be able to book a make-up session through the Parent Portal, subject to availability. It’s just one of the benefits of swimming with Aqualight - because we know life happens, and we don’t want a missed lesson to mean missed progress! πŸ’™

Last week, our Founder and Director of Aqualight, Emie, was at Diana’s Health & Fitness Club in Wellingborough delivering an STA SAT (Safety Award for Teachers) course. πŸ’™

The training develops essential knowledge and practical skills around pool safety, emergency procedures, resuscitation, and aquatic first aid - important skills for anyone working in swimming. πŸ›Ÿ

Today is the first competition of the season for Aqualight! πŸ’™

Aqualight Swimmers are competing at Corby International Pool in the Northamptonshire Short Course Sprints, hosted by Northants ASA.

A fantastic opportunity to get those first races of the season under the belt and start laying the foundations for the season ahead. πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺ Join us in wishing them all the luck for a positive start! Swim fast, race hard and most importantly - enjoy it! πŸ’™
