Another positive outing for the boys as we continue our pre-season preparations. We played some great football throughout and showed plenty of quality going forward.

A great performance from the boys on a fantastic pitch, with lots of positives to take from the game.

St Davids FC are on the lookout for somewhere to play our last three pre-season games on the 16th and 30th August.

We’re looking for a pitch with either a 10:30am or 12:30pm kick-off, as we’re unable to play at St Davids Playing Fields until September.

If anyone knows of any available pitches or locations, please private message us.

It was great to be back playing, with lots of new faces in the squad. We started off a little slow, but once we got the first goal, everything began to click and we found our rhythm. It was a good performance all round, with plenty of positives to take into the season ahead. Best of luck to McPave FC for the season ahead.

We’ve been a little quiet lately, but what a season it’s been.

It’s certainly been an up-and-down season, but we’ve shared some great moments together. We finished 4th in the Premier Division against some fantastic teams, reached the quarter-finals of the Millennium Trophy, the semi-finals of the Nene Cup, and the semi-finals of the Premier Division Cup. We came up just short, but we couldn’t be prouder of the effort every single one of the lads has put in.

This season has shown that we can compete with the best. From where we started in 2021/22 in Division 3, to winning the Championship in 2022/23, and now pushing—and beating—some of the top teams in the Premier Division, it’s not a bad going at all.

But we want more in 2026/27. 👀

It’s a shame the season ended the way it did for one of our lads. A huge shout-out to Dylan Surace, who was unfortunately injured in our final game of the season. We’re all hoping the scan results come back with better news than first feared, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
