St David FC 1-3 Milton Athletic Football Club

A disappointing first half put us well behind in the game, but sadly the result became secondary when a Milton player suffered what appeared to be a broken leg following a 50/50 challenge.

We want to wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back playing football as soon as possible. This is absolutely not how we wanted the game to end, and everyone at St Davids FC is thinking of the lad and his family.

Football is a competitive game, but ultimately the safety and wellbeing of the players comes first. We wish him all the very best with his recovery. ❤️

⚽️ FULL TIME | NENE CUP ⚽️

St Davids FC 2–2 Sixfields Rangers FC
Penalties: 6–7

Not the start to the season we wanted, but with plenty of new faces, injuries and very little pre-season together, we knew this was always going to be a tough test against another Premiership side who know how to break teams down.

The lads battled hard for the full 90 minutes, and after a 2–2 draw, the tie went straight to penalties.

It went all the way, but unfortunately we came out on the wrong side of a 7–6 defeat in the shootout.

That means we’re out of the Nene Cup, but there is still plenty to play for this season!

All that said well done to Sixfields and good luck for the season. We dust ourselves down and go again next week against McPave FC. 🔵⚽️

It’s been a busy off-season for St Davids FC, with plenty of new faces coming through the door and a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes.

Now it’s time to put it all together and see what this team can do! 💪

St Davids 7–1 Kingsthorpe Jets

Another positive outing for the boys as we continue our pre-season preparations. We played some great football throughout and showed plenty of quality going forward.

A great performance from the boys on a fantastic pitch, with lots of positives to take from the game.

A big thank you to Kingsthorpe Jets for the game and shoutout to John Johnnyd Dee for allowing us to use Spencer ⚽️💙

St Davids FC are on the lookout for somewhere to play our last three pre-season games on the 16th and 30th August.

We’re looking for a pitch with either a 10:30am or 12:30pm kick-off, as we’re unable to play at St Davids Playing Fields until September.

If anyone knows of any available pitches or locations, please private message us.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! ⚽️💙
