Another fantastic evening for the Badger Girls Pathway as preparations continue for the season ahead!

This week saw the girls split into their individual age groups as we begin to ramp things up ahead of our first fixtures in September.

The intensity is increasing, the rugby is becoming more team-focused and, once again, every single player embraced the challenge. We’re continuing to push the girls to develop their skills, game understanding and confidence – and it’s brilliant to see them responding week after week.

This week’s TREDS Award recognised a player who consistently went out of her way to encourage and support our younger Badgers throughout the session – setting exactly the kind of example we want to see across the entire pathway.

The commitment, effort and attitude being shown across every age group is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Our Girls Pathway Summer Touch continues tonight at The Sett, and we'd love to welcome even more girls to the Badger family!

Whether you've played rugby before or are completely new to the game, everyone is welcome.

Another fantastic evening of training for our Badger Girls Pathway!

The girls were really put to the test, taking on some tough fitness challenges alongside plenty of rugby. Throughout every drill, they showed incredible determination, resilience and team spirit, constantly encouraging one another to keep going.

It was brilliant to see players digging deep, refusing to give in and celebrating each other's successes. That's exactly what being a Badger is all about.

Our TREDS Awards recognised two players who truly embodied our value, one For finishing the session strongly and consistently supporting her teammates throughout the final touch session, and another for an incredible display of determination, pushing themselves to their absolute limit during the fitness challenges.

A huge well done to everyone who attended. The hard work being put in now is laying the foundations for an exciting season ahead.

Last night’s training session was one to be proud of.

Every single Badger turned up ready to work, and what followed was an outstanding display of determination, resilience and attitude from start to finish.

The girls tackled some seriously tough fitness challenges, digging deep when it mattered most and encouraging one another every step of the way. There were tired legs, plenty of sweat and a few moments where giving up would have been the easy option…

…but they didn’t. They kept going.

As coaches, that’s exactly what we love to see. Skills can always be developed, but effort, resilience and supporting your teammates are what truly define a Badger.

A huge well done to every single player. Keep bringing that attitude, and you’ll continue to achieve great things both on and off the pitch.

💚💛🦡 HOW STRONG ARE OUR BADGER GIRLS? 🦡💛💚

Last night’s challenge… Grip Strength!

Just a bit of fun to finish the session, but we were seriously impressed with some of the numbers the girls were putting up!

More importantly, it gave the girls another opportunity to challenge themselves, cheer each other on and have plenty of laughs along the way.

It’s safe to say we’ve got some seriously strong Badgers in our pathway!

A special mention also goes to our U14 Badger of the Week, who became the first recipient of the Badgers Oil Painting Award. Throughout the season, each winner will sign the back of the painting before passing it on to the next recipient, creating a unique record of the players who have embodied what it means to be a Badger. We can’t wait to see the story it tells by the end of the season.

Our TREDS Award recognised a player whose outstanding development has been noticed not only by our coaching team, but also by Northampton Saints Community during last week’s summer touch festival. A fantastic achievement and a reminder that hard work, determination and a positive attitude never go unnoticed.

Well done to all of our award winners. Keep working hard, supporting one another and living our values every time you pull on the Badger shirt.

💚💛🦡 Another Fantastic Day for our U14 Badger Girls! 🦡💛💚

Our U14 girls had a brilliant afternoon at the Northampton Saints Summer Touch Festival, enjoying some excellent games and continuing to build towards the new season.

Every player showed fantastic effort, worked hard for one another and played with confidence throughout the festival. It's been great to see how much this group has developed over the summer, and yesterday was another big step forward.

Just as importantly, it was great to spend the afternoon with our friends from Old Northamptonians, BBOB and Northampton Casuals, sharing what girls' rugby is all about: enjoyment, respect and teamwork.

A massive thank you to Northampton Saints Community for organising such a well-run event and giving the girls another fantastic opportunity to play.

Roll on the season... this group is building something special! 💚🦡💛

What a fantastic afternoon at the Northampton Saints Summer Touch Festival!

Our U12 girls were outstanding from start to finish. The teamwork, confidence and willingness to keep learning was brilliant to see, and every player should be incredibly proud of the effort they put in.

The smiles on their faces said it all!

One of the best parts of the day was catching up with our friends from Old Northamptonians, BBOB and Northampton Casuals. Events like these are a fantastic reminder of what girls' rugby is all about, enjoying the game, making friends and creating lasting memories.

A huge thank you to Northampton Saints Community for organising such a brilliant festival. We loved every minute and can't wait for the next one!
