Summer is officially here, and we hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine and any holiday trips you have planned! 🏖️

Just a quick head-up: we are open throughout the entire summer holidays! All of our regular classes will continue running as normal.

Whether you're fitting in extra training around your holidays or sticking to your regular routine, we can't wait to keep flipping, training, and making progress with you.

Update: Friday Classes are ON (With Adjustments) ☀️

Hey Twisted Arts Family,

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast. While it’s still going to be incredibly hot, we have decided to keep all classes open on Friday.

That said, our duty of care to you remains our top priority. We will not be training at maximum intensity in this heat. To ensure everyone stays safe, we are adapting Friday's sessions with the following measures:

Slower Pace: Classes will be run at a modified, controlled pace focusing on technique rather than high-intensity conditioning.

More Breaks: We will be taking longer, more frequent rest periods throughout the session.

Hydration Stations: We will have extra water on hand for anyone who runs out or forgets their bottle.

Important Note on Attendance:
We ask all students (and parents) to assess their own well-being and tolerance to the heat before attending. Please make the decision that is best for your personal health and comfort.

Grab your water, pack a towel, and we’ll see you on the floor for a focused, controlled session.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Studio Closure for TODAY, Thursday, July 9th ☀️

Hey Twisted Arts Family,

With temperatures hitting a gruelling 35°C, we are making the call to close the studio for all classes today, Thursday, July 9th.

As we know how much everyone pushes themselves in classes, the safety of our students is our top priority. Training hard in extreme heat like this just isn't safe or productive.

Making up your classes:
We don't want you missing out on your training. Anyone affected by today’s closure is welcome to jump into any of our other scheduled sessions over the coming weeks to make up for the missed class.

What about Friday?
We are monitoring the weather closely and will post a definitive update regarding Friday's operations this afternoon.

🤸‍♂️ NEW CLASS TIMES LAUNCHING TOMORROW! 🤸‍♂️

We are buzzing to introduce our brand-new Little Trickers afternoon slots starting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7th!

🕒 When: Tuesdays & Fridays | 16:15 – 17:00

📍 Where: Twisted Arts

✨ Who is this for?

These new early sessions are primarily intended for all new students joining our program. It’s the perfect opportunity to get started, build foundational agility, and jump into tricking in a high-energy, focused environment.

Note for Current Members:
To ensure we maintain optimal coaching ratios, safety, and lesson consistency, we are managing our class lists strictly. If your child is a current student and you wish to switch them over to the new 16:15 time slot, please speak directly to a member of the team, during your next session so we can manage the roster.

Spaces are limited to keep training safe and high-quality.

🚨 URGENT SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR TOMORROW 🚨

Due to the updated weather forecast and continuous rising temperatures, we have made the executive decision to consolidate tomorrow's timetable to ensure everyone's safety and training quality.

​Tomorrow, only our 12:30 – 13:30 class will be running. All later afternoon classes are cancelled.

​We are keeping the 12:30 class active because it takes place before the peak afternoon temperatures hit and before the studio environment retains cumulative heat. Running high-intensity movement sessions in the peak afternoon heat later in the day is simply not safe or feasible.

​👇 What you need to do:

​☀️ If you already attend the 12:30 class: The session is going ahead! Please bring extra water, arrive fully hydrated, and prepare to pace yourself.

​🔁 If you originally attend our class from 13:30 onwards: We would love for you to join us for the earlier 12:30 class instead. If you cannot make this time work, we would like to welcome you to our other classes during the week.

​We sincerely apologize for the short notice and back-to-back updates. Thank you all for your understanding and adaptability as we manage the environment!

⚠️ HEATWAVE UPDATE & Date CORRECTION: Extended Closure
⚠️

​With the current amber weather warning elevated to a red alert in several areas, the extreme heat is now forecast to continue through Friday.

​As a movement club, our duty of care to the health, safety, and welfare of our students and coaching staff is absolute. Training under these conditions is a safety risk we will not take.

​Therefore, Twisted Arts will remain closed for the rest of the week.

​Closed: Tuesday 23rd June – Friday 26th June

​Resuming: All classes will return to normal operations on Saturday 27th June.

​Thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding while we navigate this. Look after yourselves, stay thoroughly hydrated, and we will see you back on the mats this Saturday.

🚨 IMPORTANT CLUB NOTICE: HEATWAVE CLOSURES & SAFETY UPDATE 🚨

​To all our Twisted Arts families,

​The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for extreme heat over the coming days. We have been monitoring the forecast closely, and the safety, health, and welfare of our students is our absolute priority.

​Training in intense heat introduces serious health risks for children, who cannot regulate their body temperatures as easily as adults. Therefore, we have made the executive decision to close the school on:
​❌ Tuesday 23rd June
❌ Wednesday 24th June

​What about Thursday?
We are continuously monitoring Thursday’s forecast and will post a definitive update closer to the time.
​How we are making it up to you:
We hate missing training, so we are arranging catch-up options for every student affected by these closures:

​For the Little Ones: In the coming weeks, we are launching a brand-new 4:00 PM class to our permanent timetable. To make up for this week, all affected younger students are invited to attend a one-off complimentary session in this new slot once it launches. (Please note: This is a single free catch-up session only)

​For the Older Kids: We would love for you to catch up on your missed training by jumping into any of our other scheduled class days over the next couple of weeks.

​We appreciate your understanding, patience, and cooperation as we prioritize keeping our community safe.

I want to say a big thank you to these 2 super girls for helping us with the little ones for a year and a bit. These 2 girls have had huge difficulties starting their journey teaching, but their confidence and ability to run classes is huge.

These 2 absolutely love the little ones so we only saw right to give them 2 little ones of their own.

We hope you care for Benny and Willow as much as you care for are little Trickers.

HALF TERM NOTICE: IMPORTANT DATES

Quick update for all our families regarding the upcoming May Half Term!

Please note our modified schedule for the holiday week:

Sunday, May 24th: CLOSED ❌

Monday, May 25th (Bank Holiday Monday): CLOSED ❌

Tuesday, May 26th onwards: OPEN as normal! Classes will run throughout the rest of the half-term week.

Enjoy the long weekend, and we will see everyone back on the mats/in class starting Tuesday!
