Yesterday, the England & Wales Blind Golf "Chairman's Cup" came to Kingsthorpe Golf Club, and what unfolded across the course was nothing short of inspiring. ⛳

Players from across the country demonstrated extraordinary skill, trust, resilience and passion for the game, reminding everyone watching that golf is far more than what you see. Guided by spotters and supporters, every shot carried teamwork, communication and determination in equal measure.

We were incredibly proud to welcome the competitors, organisers, guides and families to Kingsthorpe, and equally proud of the way our members, staff and volunteers embraced the day from start to finish.

The feedback received throughout the event spoke volumes:
• The warmth of the welcome
• The condition and presentation of the course
• The support from volunteers and spotters
• The atmosphere around the club

Most importantly, the day showcased the inclusive spirit of golf and the remarkable work of England & Wales Blind Golf.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making the Chairman’s Cup such a memorable occasion. Yesterday was a powerful reminder that golf can connect, challenge and inspire people in truly extraordinary ways.
