Brundall Walking Football Club

I thought it might be an idea to show that we do actually play football! 😉
Today we played our final game of the season in the over 60s championship against NSS Mix.
We started the game quite well and had a good share of possession but unfortunately a number of running offences meant Mix had the chance to go ahead. A good save from Paul kept the game at 0-0.
We then had a penalty and John's shot was saved but he tucked away the rebound. Further goals from Neil and Chris, followed by a good defensive display meant we finished the season with a healthy 3-0 victory, well done to everyone that's been involved this season 👍

This morning five of us have been to Norfolk premier golf at Blofield and played nine holes. We had a really good time and didn't spend too much time looking for lost balls 😉

Today a group of us have met at the Fur and Feathers pub in Woodbastwick for lunch. The cyclists among us had a leisurely bike ride over and probably a slightly wobbly ride home 🙂. Being a member of BWFC isn't just about the football and we all agreed it was a lovely to spend a couple of hours together

Last night a group of us took part in a pub quiz at the White Heron in Brundall. A good time was had regardless of where the teams finished 😉 Having said that the team of Al, Nige Dave R , Bryn and Paul had a slightly better night than we did !
