Great turnout this morning. Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all and your families from us all at Brundall Walking Football Club.

Great Day Out at FDC Bowthorpe! ⚽

We had a brilliant day yesterday at the FDC Bowthorpe, where our Brundall squad of nine took part in a mini tournament alongside teams from Soca Seniors and Horsford.

Our team put in a strong performance, finishing equal top with three wins, one draw, and one loss — a fantastic result!

Despite the terrible weather, spirits were high and everyone enjoyed a great day of football and team camaraderie. A big thank you to all the players and supporters who came along and made the day a success!

Would like to welcome new members of ALL abilities to our fantastic Walking Football sessions which are now being held at the new Brundall Sport Hub NR13 5SH ( opposite McDonald’s).

If you thought football has passed you by, or just want to try something new to get fit, why not give Walking Football a go. We now have two sessions a week available.

Tuesday morning 09:45 -11:15
Thursday evening 18.45-20.00

No need to book, just turn up and play, cost per session is £5. Full memberships are also available.

Sunday morning’s team for the over 50’s league match, Brundall v Pacemakers.
Pacemakers ended up comfortable winners. Still felt it was a good effort from Brundall as a very new club to these sort of competitions. Next match for Brundall is on Wednesday the 29th in the over 60’s league- we sit third in that league with a game in hand⚽️

Last Thursday evening’s Walking football session, very, very cold night but a good turnout and everyone had an enjoyable evening under the flood lights.⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️😀’s

Brundall 2 v 2 NNS Greys

Very well played yesterday Brundall, we played our second match in the 60’s Championship league up at the FDC and drew 2-2 with Norwich Soca Seniors Greys.
This result placed us second in the league with two matches played. This shows how far we have come as a club, only a year old and competing with a team from a club much bigger than us with years of experience in these sorts of competitive matches.

Brundall took an early lead in the match with a power driver from distance which caught the NNS keeper napping, this lead lasted till around the last 14 min of the game with NSS STRUGGLING in front of goal until they equalised, NSS went in front with an extremely lucky deflection. The match was heading to our first loss until our midfield power house got on the end of a loose ball and with a great strike placed it well past the opposition keeper. Once again, well played lads a well deserved draw.

First team for Brundall in the over 60’s Walking football league, 30th October 2024. Held at the FDC Bowthorpe.
