🥋 Karate Taster Sessions at Lionwood Infant and Nursery School

Our instructor, Mahisha Sensei, had a fantastic afternoon visiting Lionwood Infant and Nursery School, delivering karate taster sessions to children in Years 1 and 2.

A huge well done to everyone who took part! Mahisha was really impressed with the enthusiasm, focus and concentration you showed throughout the sessions.

We hope you all enjoyed having a go at karate, and we look forward to hopefully seeing some of you in our classes soon! 🥋

In today’s instructor training, we focused on developing our Jiyu Kumite (free sparring), worked on Kanku Sho and finished with some sweeping drills.

🥋 Karate Taster Session at Eaton Primary School 🥋

Sensei Dave had a fantastic time visiting the Year 4 and 5 pupils at Eaton Primary School this morning!

It was a great opportunity to introduce the children to some of the basics of karate, get them moving, and give them a taste of the focus, discipline and confidence that martial arts can help develop.

A big thank you to Eaton Primary for making us so welcome — we hope the children enjoyed the session as much as we did!
