⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars for our SEN Karate Class!

We’re incredibly proud that our SEN Karate Class at The Dojo has received a 5-star review following a visit from the Nansa DRAGONS.

During their visit, the DRAGONS observed one of our sessions and highlighted the confidence, self-belief and sense of achievement that our students gain through their karate.

The review also recognised the importance of structure, individual support and allowing parents and family members to be part of the experience.

A fantastic reflection of what our SEN Class is all about. 🥋

In today’s Instructor Training, we looked at self-defence by developing our understanding of different locks and holds, and how they can be applied effectively and safely.

A great session exploring control, positioning and practical application, while continuing to develop our knowledge.

We are hosting our annual Summer Beach Day on Sunday 16th August at Sea Palling Beach.

This social event is open to ALL ESKA members, their families and friends and promises to be a great day of fun, games and a picnic at the seaside!

There is no need to book; simply turn up from 1:30pm and look for the Japanese flag and ESKA instructors to find the rest of the ESKA family.

We cannot wait to see you all there!

In today’s Instructor Training, we worked through the Dan grade Kihon syllabus, focusing on developing our understanding of body dynamics and how effective body movement can improve the power, speed and efficiency of our techniques. 🥋👊

In today’s Instructor Training, we warmed up with the Junro katas before developing our knowledge and understanding of Bassai Sho. We finished the session with some focused kumite drills, working on improving our blocking skills🥋
