Free practice completed. A quiet grid but we’re all set for battle tomorrow.

Great to have our drivers join some friendly faces on the podium to finish off an eventful weekend in varied weather at one of our favourite circuits. Next race Anglesey with the BRSCC in 2 weeks time.

Post Hockenheim Report.

We had a great weekend for the first round of the new European GT Lite Challenge. Race 1 saw us take 3 class wins out of 4 classes which is just fantastic, especially as we don’t have a car in the 4th class. Mick Edwards took 3rd in production securing his second podium of the season.

Race 2 saw a second win of the weekend for Mark Yates in the GT category in his Ginetta G55, this was far more than we could have hoped for being its first outing since we acquired it only a few weeks ago. Dave Harvey took the second step on the open category podium and Bailey Edwards also grabbed a late second place in the production class, like his Dad taking his second podium of the season. Sadly after such a great race for both of them in race 1 Jason developed a fuel pump issue a few laps in and Mick received some damage to some wiring from debris off the track following a broken wheel arch liner. All will be sorted in the workshop this coming week.

It’s great to be back out racing, we have a few jobs to do before the next rounds of Oulton Park in the UK and Spa in Europe, 2 favourites for the team. See you there!

Round 1 of the new European GT Lite Challenge series at Hockenheim. First outing for Mark Yates in his G55 Ginetta we’ve recently acquired. A few little teething issues for it, all the lotus’s going strong. Back out again for 2 races tomorrow.

A quick update, yesterday saw Mick and Bailey take win number 1 of the season in the BMW and an overall podium. Great result to start the season with. Well done both of you. Jason had a bit of a troublesome race in the Open Spec Elise with a supercharger issue. We were also told he was too fast by the organisers and will need to move up a class, thanks guys we already had to deal with him telling us he was fast all the time 🙄😂😂😂

It’s race week again this week, with 6 cars going to Hockenheim and a debut for Mark Yates in the G55 we’re all excited, hope you are too.
