🏌️‍♀️ A Fantastic Week for the Ladies at Okehampton Golf Club! 🏆

It’s been a hugely successful and exciting week for the Ladies at Okehampton Golf Club, with plenty to celebrate both on and off the course!

Last weekend saw our Ladies Club Championship, with Tracey Chandler crowned Ladies Club Champion and Penny Rowe taking home the Handicap Salver. A massive congratulations to both players on their fantastic achievements! 👏👏

And a huge well done to everyone who took part — it was wonderful to see so many of our ladies competing and supporting one another. Tracey and Penny are pictured below with their well-deserved trophies. 🏆

Our Ladies’ teams have also enjoyed a fantastic week of results:

⛳ Still Cup Team
Congratulations to our Still Cup Team, who have battled their way through to the semi-finals! They will face Saunton at Churston on Friday 21st August, with the match teeing off at 11:20am. Best of luck to the team! 💪

⛳ Presidents Team
Our Presidents Team have also progressed to the quarter-finals, where they will take on Dainton Park at Honiton on Monday 10th August.

What a day! ⛳🎉 Captain Rich Camies’ Captain’s Day at Okehampton Golf Club certainly didn’t disappoint!

From the moment players strode to the first tee to their very own walk-on music (thanks to the one and only The Ginga Ninja 🎶), it was clear this wasn’t going to be your average Saturday medal. There were plenty of laughs, some great golf (from a few people… 😉), the odd questionable shot, and a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.

Captain Rich would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special. Events like this simply don’t happen without an army of helpers, so a few well-deserved shout-outs go to:

The GC Palairet Team are back in action this Sunday as they compete in Round 3 of this year’s Palairet competition!

Captain Jonny Rattenbury and his team (listed below) travel to East Devon to take on Sidmouth GC, with a 1:00pm tee-off. We wish the team the very best of luck as they look to progress to the next round.

🏌️‍♂️ A Huge Weekend Ahead at Okehampton Golf Club! 🏌️‍♀️

There’s plenty to look forward to at this weekend, with some fantastic golf and team action taking place.

🏆 Club Championship Finals Day – Saturday
Following an exciting opening weekend, the remaining competitors will battle it out for the title of 2026 Club Champion on Saturday. We’d love to see plenty of support around the 18th green as we find out who will be crowned this year’s champions.

⛳ Still Cup Team – Saturday, 12:30pm
After a fantastic draw away at Torquay GC, our Still Cup Team returns home looking to build on that performance as they take on Torquay in the return fixture. First tee at 12:30pm – come along and cheer the team on!

🏌️ Dartmoor League – Sunday
Fresh from an impressive draw at Dartmouth last weekend, our Dartmoor League team are back in action at home on Sunday against Tavistock. Another great opportunity to support the club and enjoy some competitive golf.
