🥊 WHAT A WEEKEND FOR MAYFLOWER! 🥊

What a weekend for us as a team! We entered 4 boxers into the Riviera Box Cup and came away with 4 medals! 🏅🔥

💥 Crystal — Reaching the semi-finals and facing the Irish National Champion, Crystal put on a fantastic, close and competitive performance. It was a tough bout, but she can hold her head high after an excellent tournament. 👊

🥈 Leah — What a performance in the final! Leah showed incredible grit, determination and heart right to the final bell. It was narrowly decided, but she can be incredibly proud of her silver medal. ❤️

🥈 Ryan — An absolutely amazing performance in the final. The bout was dead even, with Ryan giving everything from start to finish. His opponent produced a strong final 30 seconds and deserved the win, but we couldn’t be prouder of Ryan and the performance he put in. 👊

🥇 Fletcher — His first bout representing Mayflower and what a way to do it! Relentless from the opening bell, Fletcher kept the pressure on and forced the referee to stop the contest in the second round, securing himself and Mayflower a fantastic gold medal! 🏆🥇

4 boxers. 4 medals. One incredible team. 🥊

A massive congratulations to Crystal, Leah, Ryan and Fletcher. We couldn’t be prouder of every one of you.
