🌟 **June Dancer of the Month – Ripley** 🌟

A huge congratulations to our June Dancer of the Month, Ripley! 💜

Ripley is such a hardworking, dedicated dancer who always gives 100% in every class and is constantly striving to be the very best she can be.

This month, though, it wasn't just her dancing that made us proud, it was her heart.

When one of our younger dancers was preparing for her very first competition, Ripley didn't hesitate to offer to perform a duo with her. She even choreographed the routine herself and spent her own time teaching it, simply because she wanted to help another dancer feel confident and supported. She never saw the age difference or the difference in experience, she just saw someone who could use a helping hand.

At Rhythm City, this is exactly what we're all about. Supporting one another, lifting each other up, and celebrating each other's successes. Ripley truly embodies those values, and we couldn't be prouder.

Ripley, thank you for being such a kind, caring and inspiring member of our dance family. Keep shining, we can't wait to see all that you achieve. 💜✨

What a day at the United Dance Organisation South West Championships! ❤️🏆

We headed to the event with a small but mighty team, many of whom were stepping onto the competition floor for the very first time. From debut performances to our youngest competitor, just 3 years old, every single dancer showed incredible courage, determination and heart.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing our very own Andy Wu take the Parents Division title, continuing an amazing Rhythm City tradition and making it six years in a row that a Rhythm City parent has brought home the crown! 👏🔥

Of course, we were delighted to come away with a fantastic collection of trophies, but the real success of the day can't be measured in medals.

It's seeing dancers push themselves outside their comfort zones, conquer nerves, cheer each other on, and simply enjoy doing what they love. It's the hugs after performances, the encouragement from teammates, and the smiles that last long after the music stops.

Every time our dancers step onto that floor, they make us proud, trophy or no trophy. Watching their confidence grow, seeing the support they show one another, and feeling the love and energy in the room is what makes days like these so special.

To our dancers, parents and supporters, thank you for making it such a memorable day. Together, we continue to prove that dance is about so much more than winning, it's about community, courage, friendship and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Due to the heat, we have decided to cancel our classes this evening. As much as we can keep the studio ventilated, this heat plus your hard work is a perfect recipe for over heating. Safety first!!

We'll see you all back next week, take advantage of a night off and the weather, but do so safely!!

What an incredible week for our very own superstar, Kaiden! 🌟

We’re so proud to announce that Kaiden has been named a finalist for the YMCA Youth Awards and will be attending the awards ceremony tomorrow evening!

This remarkable young man has had an unforgettable week, being crowned South West Champion, earning Star of the Day at school, and now celebrating this amazing achievement as a Youth Award finalist.

His hard work, dedication, and positive attitude continue to shine both inside and outside the studio. Whatever tomorrow brings, we couldn’t be prouder of everything he has accomplished.

Keep reaching for the stars, Kaiden , your journey is only just beginning! ⭐👏

🌟🏃‍♀️ OUR AMAZING DANCERS ARE TAKING ON RACE FOR LIFE! 🏃‍♀️🌟

Our very own Lily & Phoebe will be running the Race for Life on Sunday 19th July alongside their mums – how incredible is that?! 💖

They've set themselves a fantastic fundraising target of £500 between them, and we'd love to help them smash it! 💪
