⚽ MATCH REPORT | LEAGUE CUP 1st round.

A tough morning for Map Kings U12’s
We struggled to create the clear-cut opportunities we know we can, although there were a few good situations around the opposition box where we could have made more of our chances.

🧤 POTM – JAXON (GK)
Jaxon was kept very busy and produced lots of great saves, showing excellent concentration and holding his composure well under pressure. Both goals came from set pieces — a penalty and a free kick.
👏 Special mention to Archie from MAP Juniors U9 for an absolutely masterpiece of a free kick, placed with incredible precision into the top-left corner. Jaxon couldn't do much about that one! 👌⚽

Shane Goves
' For most today, was there first experience of an EL MAPPICO! And I thought they all did really well! We competed we worked hard but today the better team won! Lots of lessons learnt and I know we will come back stronger 👊👏⚽️💙'

Andrew Hewson-Burdett
'Both teams played well it was always going to be a tough game for the boys with juniors coming out on top I personally think we gave a good account for our selfs not conceding a goal in open play and there goals coming from a penalty and a soft free kick some of the decisions I didn’t agree with but that’s football the boys just need keep there cool in some situations and not letting them get in there heads but we go again we take the positives from that game keep our heads high our aim is to keep bettering ourselves have a good weekend everyone 💙⚽️⚽️'

Thanks to Chris Gryczkowski for running the line.
Thank you All parents / carers for coming and supporting Boys as much as possible ✅
Have a great rest of the week Everyone👌

💙 Well done to everyone who got involved and gave their best. Lesson learned. Keep working. Keep improving. Let's move on. 👊⚽💙
