Ocean Runner Charters

A stiff south‑easterly made for testing conditions for Lymington Fishing Club today. Even with the wind against them, the lads put in a solid effort and still managed to bring a few good fish to the net.

Another productive day offshore in excellent conditions. Pete and Dale each handled two well‑fought encounters, bringing two porbeagles safely alongside the vessel. Late in the session, Dale connected with a third fish; however, after a brief initial run, the hook dislodged and the fish was lost. Operations resume tomorrow with the aim of securing additional catches ahead of the forecasted increase in wind on Monday.

Great to get offshore today in near perfect conditions for our first shark trip of the year. A solid run on the shark gear with Chris getting into his first ever porbeagle on the livebait. Quick photo alongside and the fish powered away strong on release. Rounded off a lovely day with a new species for Ocean Runner, the comber fish, with everyone including the skipper catching plenty.

Another glorious out at sea! After a few recent tough days it was great find a few bass today with Lymington fishing club. Even the skipper managed to sneak a few out.

Great days fishing at anchor today! A nice mixed bag for the guys to get amongst with some nice fish coming to the net.

The forecast is looking brilliant for Tuesday 28th July 0800-16.30 and we still have some spaces available. Fishing at anchor for Bream, Rays, Congers etc.
