A year in and almost 3 stone down..
Kim joined the team last year after going through some pretty big life stressors
She needed something as an escape to focus on herself
Within weeks Kim was hooked
She loved training
She loved the social with the girls
She loved being able to switch off from life
And she loved the results she was starting to see
The more into it she got the more committed she became
And before you know it she decided her goal was to be fit at 50 and complete a photoshoot
At that point she went all in
We worked around holidays
Social events
Nights out
You name it, we worked around it
And Kim went into the shoot the lightest she’d been in a long time
But the most confident shes ever been!!
We’re working through a minor set back currently- a broken tib and fib after celebrating a little too hard with us after the shoot🍹
But no doubt she’ll be back stronger stronger than ever as soon as she has the all clear to train lower again💪🏼

A stone down just in time for summer🔥
Keeshas been working with us since the end of last year
She joined wanting to lose some weight but mainly to help her get some structure and support with her nutrition and day to day routine
She felt like she was chasing her tail with things and nutrition was always the last priority
Eating on the go
Picking up a take away because she couldn’t be bothered to cook
Or just skipping meals entirely
All normal parts of her week when she first started
Before we even went into a dieting phase the first priority was some structure with nutrition
We first worked on ensuring we were eating 3 meals a day
Prioritising protein in every meal
Getting fruit and veg in every meal
And actually drinking water every day
Once we had that nailed then she was ready to diet
You see most women have poor food habits before they diet
Which just makes dieting that much harder
Sometimes all you need is 6-8 weeks to fix your nutrition first
And once thats done you can then move onto dieting and focusing on losing weight just like Keesha did🔥

Gemma is everything that the KCM Studio is about
When I opened the gym my goal was to create an environment where women felt confident to be themselves, train hard and work on becoming better versions of themselves while uplifting others
And I probably couldn’t sum Gemma up any better than exactly that
She’s been in the team since the doors to the gym opened and I don’t think I’m getting rid of her any time soon either
In the past 4 years shes lost over 25kg
Shes completed two fitness shoots
Shes been at every KCM Christmas party
Shes always supporting the girls she trains with
And she’ll bend over backwards to help us all out
(Oh- and you’ll probably hear her before you see her too)
Her lifestyle has entirely changed from what it was when she first joined
She hardly drinks compared to what she used to
She has far better nutritional habits day to day
She enjoys being active as part of her down time now and regularly cycles to the gym or goes for long bike rides on the weekends
But while she does all that she also enjoys life too
If we’re going out, she’ll drink most of us under the table
She has a really big social life
And genuinely loves the life she lives
She hasn’t needed to give up everything she loves to get to where she is
And thats everything that we’re about here at KCM
Yes losing weight to feel healthier, fitter and more confident is important
But not at the expense of a miserable life that you don’t enjoy
And its fair to say Gemma has the best of both worlds🤷🏽♀️

You’re constantly on a diet and wondering why you aren’t getting the toned look you want
The truth is, you need to spend some time eating well and training hard if you want to look toned
A toned look means more muscle and you won’t get that when you’re constantly dieting
Janine’s been working with us for almost 3 years now
We started off in a fatloss phase
She lost the weight
She done a photoshoot
And she looked UNREAL
But then she wanted to build some more muscle
She wanted to look even stronger than she already did
And so shes spent the last YEAR focusing on just that
Eating well, training hard, recovering strong
Because building muscle takes time
Its not pretty, its not always fun and its definitely not easy
It requires playing the long game
After a year of hard work Janine started a diet again earlier this year to strip back the weight and see the work she had put in
She’s built some serious muscle
She’s looking stronger that shes ever looked before
And shes enjoying life along the way too
Being in her 50’s Janine knows the importance of staying strong and healthy far beyond just how she looks
But lets be honest, if I look this good at 50 I’ll be a very happy woman👀
If you want to look toned there’s three things you need to do
Train hard
Eat well
Give it time
And then you’ll look just as strong as Janine does here🔥

6 stone down and theres no sign of stopping any time soon🔥🔥
Jalisa is arguably one of the busiest women we work with
Not only does she run her own business, but shes also a pretty successful performer and has contracts all over the UK
A normal week for her can mean being in 3/4 different cities in a week, doing 200+ miles of travelling and eating on the go constantly
When she joined the team she was desperate to feel confident
As a dance school owner and a performer everyone assumes she was confident
But it was far from that
Her busy lifestyle had taken over for the past few years and she felt nothing like herself
We’re currently 6 stone down
While navigating working on the road
Performing every night for weeks on end
Running a growing business
And still making it work
Sometimes that means training at 9pm in a hotel room
Other times it means taking a mini fridge away with her to be able to have some prepped food
But we’ve worked around everything to get the results she has now
The shoot this year was about celebrating all of that
And now we have even more goals we want to work towards because we are not done yet💪🏼💪🏼
If you have a crazy busy life that doesn’t need to be an excuse
You just likely need a little help working around all of the chaos
And thats exactly what we do

Imagine avoiding the camera so much you don’t even have a ‘before’ photo to compare your progress to
That’s the reality for our Gemma..
When she joined the team last year she was desperate to make a change
She hadn’t stepped foot in the gym for over 10 years
Her confidence was rock bottom
She had no photos of herself
Her energy was low
And she just needed a solution
Fast forward a year and Gemma’s just completed a fitness shoot and said “I’m so happy with my photos and I’m obsessed with how good my back looks”
If you had told Gemma this time last year she’d be doing a fitness shoot she’d have told us where to go🤣
But that’s what happens when you put the work in
In a world where ‘body confidence’ is used far too lightly, we’re here to prove to you that confidence comes from the work you put in
And Gemmas been putting the work in for over a year now and truly deserves to feel as confident as she does right now
We’re super excited to see where she’ll be in another years time🤯🔥
