๐Ÿƒ Caerphilly 5K

A big well done to all our Harriers who headed to Caerphilly for the 5K this weekend.

Itโ€™s always good to see plenty of out racing, and the 5K is one of those distances where you can really give the legs a good test! Whether you were chasing a PB, using it as part of your training or just wanted to get out there and enjoy a race, well done to everyone who took part. ๐Ÿ‘

Itโ€™s great seeing our members getting involved in races of all different distances, so keep them coming!

๐ŸŠ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿƒ Ironman Wales Training

With Ironman Wales getting closer, the training is definitely starting to ramp up for those taking on Tenby.

Weโ€™ve seen plenty of Harriers getting the miles in across all three disciplines, with some big bike rides, swims and runs being ticked off. We know just how much work goes into getting ready for an Ironman, so all the early mornings, long sessions and big training days will hopefully pay off come race day.

Keep putting the work in everyone, the countdown is on! ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸŠ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿƒ

๐Ÿ”ฅ GV 70.tri - Aberavon Middle Distance Triathlon ๐Ÿ”ฅ

What an incredible day at this yearโ€™s GV70!

Once again, the event brought together athletes from across the country and what a day it was. The atmosphere from start to finish was incredible, with fantastic support out on the course and at the finish line.

It was brilliant to see so many members taking on the challenge, including several athletes completing their very first middle-distance triathlon. Every finish line represented months of training, commitment and determination, and it was fantastic to see so many smiles at the end of the day.

A special congratulations goes to our Super 8 Relay Team of Joe Oโ€™Shea, Rosie Courts and Hugh Pascoe, who raced to a brilliant ๐Ÿฅ‰ 3rd place against some very strong competition.

A huge thank you goes to the organisers, neighbouring clubs, marshals, volunteers, supporters and photographers. Your time, encouragement and hard work helped make another unforgettable GV70.

๐Ÿƒ Llanelli 5 & 10 Miler

Away from the triathlon action, Carolyn Foley, Caroline Atkinson Hosgood, Jennie Lewis and Denise Cotterell were representing the club at the Llanelli 5 & 10 Miler.

With temperatures soaring, it certainly wasnโ€™t the easiest day for running, but all four put in fantastic performances despite the heat. A huge well done to you all! ๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธโšซ๏ธ The Weekly Roundup ๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธโšซ๏ธ

What a week itโ€™s been for . From European Championship medals to a brand new club championship race and another fantastic weekend of parkruns, our members have once again been flying the flag for the club wherever theyโ€™ve been racing.

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ European Triathlon Multisport Championships

A huge congratulations to everyone who travelled to Banyoles in Spain to represent Team GB at the European Triathlon Multisport Championships.

A special mention goes to Cathryn Williams and Mikey Davies, who both produced outstanding performances to bring home European bronze medals. Cathryn claimed bronze in the Aquabike Championship, while Mikey stood on the podium in the Middle Distance Triathlon. What an achievement for both athletes!

Weโ€™re also incredibly proud of Joe Oโ€™Shea, Stephen Crook, Rosie Courts, Karl Lewis, Nathan Launchbury-Jones and Nathan Morgan, who all pulled on the Team GB kit and took on the challenge in temperatures well into the 30s.

Rosie also secured a brilliant Top 10 finish, rounding off an unforgettable weekend for our club.

๐Ÿฐ Rabbit Run 12K | Club Championship

This yearโ€™s championship calendar welcomed a brand new race, and itโ€™s safe to say the Rabbit Run was a hit!

The heat certainly made things interesting, but the famous run down the Big Dipper, three refreshing water crossings and even a few sea creatures keeping an eye on everyone made for a race unlike any other.

It was fantastic to see so many Harriers taking on something different and enjoying another great evening of club championship racing.

๐Ÿƒ Gower Ultra Challenge 100K

Massive congratulations to Richard Clarke, who took on the Gower Ultra Challenge over an incredible 100 kilometres.

With soaring temperatures adding another layer of difficulty, simply getting to the finish line was a huge achievement. An outstanding effort and one that deserves plenty of recognition.
