⚾ A new chapter for Batter-Up... 🥎
I've got some bittersweet news...
I've made the decision to retire the current batting cages. This will be effective immediately.
But before anyone worries... Batter-Up isn't going anywhere! 😄
In fact, it's evolving.
Going forward, I'll be offering equipment hire for baseball and softball teams, making it even easier for clubs to access professional training equipment.
And... I've also been working on something very exciting behind the scenes that I can't wait to reveal. 👀
Let's just say... Batter-Up is about to become a lot more mobile! 🚚⚾🥎

🇬🇧 TRAIN WITH A GB BASEBALL COACH AT BATTER-UP! 🇬🇧

Session: Batting coaching, Tuesday 30th June 19:00-21:00
Last week we welcomed GB Coach Chris Ward to Batter-Up for a small-group training session and the feedback from players was fantastic.
The session gave players the opportunity to work closely with a coach operating within the Great Britain programme, receiving detailed technical feedback and development advice in a focused training environment.
Because of the success of the first session, we're excited to announce that Chris will be returning for a series of exclusive small-group development sessions.
What to expect:
⚾ 2 hours of intensive batting coaching
⚾ Small group environment (maximum 6 players)
⚾ Individual technical feedback
⚾ Hitting, fielding and game-development work
⚾ Professional batting cages and pitching machines
⚾ Direct access to a professional former GB coach
These sessions are designed for players who genuinely want to improve their game and benefit from a coaching environment that simply isn't possible in larger groups.

What a brilliant evening at Batter-Up! ⚾🔥
A massive thank you to GB Coach, Chris Ward, for coming down and running a group baseball session for us last night.
The players got stuck in, worked hard, asked great questions, and most importantly had a lot of fun while learning from someone with a huge amount of experience and knowledge of the game. Having the opportunity to train with a coach who has worked at the highest levels of British baseball is something that doesn't come along every day, and the value he brought to the session was clear to see.
The feedback afterwards was fantastic, with everyone taking away something new to help their game, regardless of experience level.
For me personally, this is exactly what Batter-Up is all about—creating opportunities for players to improve, learn, and enjoy the sport we all love.
I'm also incredibly excited to be welcoming Chris as part of the Batter-Up journey going forward. His passion for player development, willingness to give back to the baseball community, and depth of coaching experience make him a fantastic addition, and I can't wait to see what we can build together.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a great session. The energy was brilliant from start to finish! 🙌
