Preston City Football Club | U9s

Our U9s continued a great start to the season with yet another hardworking team performance. After falling behind early on the lads and coaches worked well and started to get the football flowing, creating chances and playing outstanding team football.

After some change to the squad and a new management team over the summer its great to see the team continuing to do so well. Which is a credit to the players and coaches.

Keep up the great work 👏

Preston City Football Club | U8s

Our U8 sides went in to play Blackpool FC this weekend. A great competitive set of games for the groups.

The lads did excellent and gave a brilliant account of themselves and the club. Excellent team performances but special mentions to Rhodes Webb and Adam Lantos on exceptional performances picking up players of the day

The U8s now go into Preston North End this weekend.

Head coach Chris Murray said "The lads worked hard and were class. Having the extra academy games fixtures around our usual games is really good for the lads. They get to test themselves against good academy sides and always show what a great group they are. Its great to always get these invites and shows that the club, the coaches and importantly the players are doing the right things to keep getting these invites"

Well done to everyone 👏

Preston City Football Club our U11 girls side were in impressive form again this weekend playing some top class team football. Another clean sheet and some brilliant team goals. Player of the match was Anya Prescott with an outstanding performance. Breaking up attacks and dictating play. Fantastic performance by each and every player

The girls now play at home again this weekend. If you are yet to watch these girls get down to Ashton this weekend and watch these girls play.

Preston City Football Club | With some of the girls away at district trials last night, we took the opportunity for the remaining U11s to play a 5v5 against the U12s, who are currently trialling to create a new age group side within the girls’ section.

Both sides worked really hard, covered plenty of ground and there was some really good football on show. ⚽️👏

It was great to see the girls challenging themselves against different ages and getting plenty of touches on the ball.

The U11s now head into the weekend with a home game, following their move up a division.

🔵⚽ Preston City Football Club

The City are back in action.
After last week’s impressive 5-0 victory, Preston City FC return to Mid Lancs League action looking to build on that performance and keep the momentum moving in the right direction.

So far this season, the lads have shown what this group is capable of; intensity, discipline, attacking intent and, most importantly, a determination to get the job done. Picking up 5 wins from the first 5 games. However the next game is always the most important

Now comes the test.
Southport & Ainsdale FC will arrive with their own ambitions, and the City know they will have to earn every inch of the pitch. The expectation is clear: compete from the first whistle, stay disciplined, work for each other and maintain the standards that this club is built upon.

This isn't just about chasing another three points. It's about building something more.
Every game is another opportunity to establish our identity, strengthen our position and show what Preston City Football Club is about.

Toughness & Togetherness.
Discipline & Dedication.
Pride is the Prize.

The boys have put the work in during the week.

Now it's time to put it on the pitch.
Our team. Our club. Our City.

🏆 MID LANCS LEAGUE
3 points. 90 minutes. Full commitment.
We Are The City.
