The Under 11s had a team building day at Sand Castle yesterday, followed by lunch at Pizza Hut. A fun and chaotic day that was enjoyed by all!

A really hard fought 2-2 draw for the U13s this morning against Westgate Wanderers

The U13s had to work hard to come back from 2 goals behind to secure a draw this morning.

In fiercely hot conditions, and with only 1 sub to rotate everyone some rest, the lads had to dig deep and be resilient.

Some excellent competitive football was played and they all gave it 100 % despite the hot conditions

Whole team player of the match award once again 👏

Our U10 Reds played Trimpell Colts in a friendly at Cockerham this morning.

A very even competitive first half had the scoreline at 0-0, before a deflection off a very good corner from Jonah put Cockerham ahead with the last kick of the half.

Cockerham then kicked on in the second half, took control and scored 2 more goals.

George finished well by volleying a corner from Adam straight into the net, and then Adam followed that up with a goal himself to round off the win.

The player of the match went to Eddie. An outstanding first half in goal followed up with a very solid second half at right back, was instrumental in ensuring the clean sheet for the team.

The outstanding effort award went to Adam. His second half performance in particular was full of energy and purpose delivering 2 goal contributions.

They’ll be taking pride of place here at Winmarleigh Village Hall, and we’re sure they’re going to be a massive hit with children, families, and everyone who visits.

Your kindness and support are greatly appreciated, and it’s wonderful to see local organisations supporting one another for the benefit of our community.

Well done to Cockerham U7s yesterday against Highgrove Juniors.

Although the result didn’t go our way, the boys put in a fantastic performance against a strong, established side.

For a relatively new team, the progress they’re making is clear to see. They played with confidence, moved the ball well, found space, worked hard for one another and never gave up.
This game really showed
just how far they’ve come as a team.

Player of the Match: Reuben
Reuben gives 100% every single game, but this week he was outstanding. He kept his head up, showed great awareness of the space around him and made confident passes to bring his teammates into play. He finished the game with 5 goals, 1 assist and 3 saves an incredible all round performance and a thoroughly deserved Player of the Match.
