Invented by Frederick Beesley, our Side-by-Side is a self-opening action that all others have been judged by since 1880.

The 1860s leather gun case which was discovered in the archives at Audley House in Mayfair, London - becomes inspiration for a new line of Purdey luggage.

The striped interior within the gun case has been replicated in our 1814 webbing which can be found on the new Purdey Field Luggage collection, a nod to our heritage in each piece.

Come and join us for The Purdey 500 Sim Day. On Tuesday 15th September, we’re doing something entirely new. For the first time ever, we have re-engineered our own grounds at Purdey at the Royal Berkshire to host a full-scale Sim Day.

We’ve utilised every inch of our unique topography, infrastructure, and elite equipment to replicate the drama and realism of a traditional line. Expect 500 targets over 5 challenging drives. It’s the ultimate pre-season sharpener for the experienced game shooter.
