Radiotherapy Done!!!
Absolutely exhausted now but some of that's self inflicted. 65 and I still don't listen!! They warned me about tiredness during RT but I kept walking and working....... until 2 weeks ago and it hit me.
Weekend of rest and then hopefully back to it?
They have said the effects can continue for a few weeks and even though the RT itself is over it keeps working. 2-3 months before full recovery.
No F4PC Walk tomorrow as I'm shattered but lookout for a spectacular walk on the 2nd Sat in July. A walk through history on the Ridgeway and surrounding area!!!

What a great walk we had yesterday. Very warm in the May sunshine. 19 miles. So well done everyone.

F4PC RIDGEWAY WALKS 2026.
Raising awareness and money for Prostate Cancer UK.
Sat 9th May.
Ogbourne St George to Aldbourne and back. A stunning 18.5 mile circular walk. If anyone would prefer a shorter walk we could leave a car in Aldbourne. That's an 11 mile walk.
Meet on the Ridgeway just outside OSG at 9.00am ready to walk!
Drive all the way through OSG along the High Street. After a series of bends the road turns right into Draycott Close. The Ridgeway is 100m or so on the left!! Parking for 3 or 4 cars.
If anyone prefers the shorter walk I'll meet you in Aldbourne at 8.15am. Lots of free parking near the Crown Pub!!
Looking forward to seeing you on Sat!!!

Sorry, you can't hear a word I'm saying. It was so windy yesterday.
Sadly, no one could could join me yesterday. Rather than waste a spectacular walk we will do the next leg on Sat 9th May. Really hope you can join me then.
I did another recce yesterday instead, 11 miles of stunning scenery.

F4PC Ridgeway Walks.
The 3rd of these walks is this Sat 11th April. Hope to see you. Its a stunning walk!
We start in Ogbourne St George and walk approx 7 miles on the Ridgeway. Nr Liddington Castle we head off to Aldbourne for a welcome stop at the Blue Boar pub. We then walk up a stunning valley back to the Ridgeway.
We will meet on the Ridgeway at Ogbourne St George ready to walk at 9.00am. There is parking on the Ridgeway just off Draycott Lane. Head all the way down The High Street in Ogbourne St George and it turns rt into Draycott Lane. The Ridgeway is 200m on the left.
The full walk is about 17.5 miles but if anyone doesn't want to do the whole walk we could leave a car in Aldbourne. That's approx 11 miles!!
