💙 Sensory activities are for everyone! 💙

Today, some of our service users have been enjoying a range of sensory equipment and activities, including bubble tubes, musical instruments and a sensory tuff tray filled with different resources.

Sensory play isn’t just for children. For adults with learning disabilities, sensory activities can provide meaningful opportunities to explore different textures, sounds, smells, colours, movement and touch. 🎶🫧🙌

These activities can also support communication, choice-making, relaxation, engagement and simply having fun!

At Aztec, it’s all about finding activities that are meaningful and enjoyable for each individual. 💙

⚽️ Inclusive Football at Chatham Town FC ⚽️

Some of the people we support have been enjoying inclusive football sessions at Chatham Town Football Club! ⚽️🥅

These sessions are about so much more than football. They help us to:

⚽ Keep active, fit and healthy
🤝 Learn how to play games safely together
👏 Encourage and support one another
💪 Build confidence and teamwork
😊 Have fun and make friends
❤️ Develop a real sense of community spirit

At Aztec Day Services, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Working closely with physiotherapists, we provide personalised 1:1 support to help people achieve their individual goals in a safe, encouraging and meaningful way.

Whether it’s standing, taking a few steps, or building confidence, every achievement is celebrated. We’re proud to support people to improve their mobility, independence and quality of life, helping them gain confidence both at our day centre and in the wider community.

🎳 A fantastic day out bowling! 😊

Our service users had a brilliant time in the community, enjoying a game of bowling with friends. Everyone took turns, cheered each other on, and celebrated each other’s successes.

Bowling is a great way to build coordination, improve balance and movement, encourage gentle exercise, develop social skills, and most importantly, have fun together.

We’re proud to support people to access their community, make friendships, and enjoy meaningful activities that promote confidence and independence. 💙
