1’S STATS FOR THE 2026 LEAGUE SEASON
And so finally, the 1s. Back in Division 3 for the first time since 2012, the 1s faced a stern test going into the season.

They were buoyed though with the pre-season arrival of Hayden Blair and later Rhys Fowler.

As we now know looking back, 2026 was a phenomenal year for the 1s, winning 16 of 18 league games, the division outright and being promoted to Division 2 for the 2027 season. In addition the Club were also Kent regional finalists in the National Village Cup.

Congratulations to Christopher Maurice and all of his team. Top work !

Please find below all the 1s stats for the year, with the bat, ball, in the field and as a team. Looking forward to 2027.

Thank you as always to all our friends, supporters and sponsors. We couldn’t do it without you all.

UPDATE – ASHLEYS SPONSORED SWIM
Well Ashley is three weeks in, and so far she’s smashed 625 lengths of the pool – wow !! But as incredible as that is already, she’s still got another mind-numbing 3,171 lengths more to go !!!!

So first things first, a big hand to Ashley.

The goal is 94.9km, that was made up of one 25m length for every run scored by the 1st XI in the league this year. So with 3,796 runs and lengths, that’s a lot of swimming !!!

And don’t forget Ashley is swimming to raise monies for High Halstow Cricket Club – so show your support by clicking on the link below and getting behind her.

Good luck and thank you Ashley – and to all those who have sponsored her too.

HALSTOW STAR DUO OFF DOWN UNDER
Having both had a fantastic season for High Halstow in the Kent League, culminating in divisional honours and promotion, both Clark Dockwray and Rhys Fowler now find themselves ready for further adventures.

Taking the opportunity to top up their tans, while saving themselves the trauma of an English winter – the pair are both off to Australia for the next few months. Top work !!!

Both will play for Helensburgh Tigers Cricket Club in New South Wales. Helensburgh is a small town, located 28 miles south of Sydney and is well known for its bushland reserves adjacent to the southern end of the Royal National Park and Garawarra State Conservation Area.

They both leave tonight (Weds 30th Sept) and play their first game on Saturday – so barely time to unpack.

You can keep up to date with them both online. Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/helensburghcc) and website (https://www.helensburghcricketclub.com.au)

High Halstow club chairman Andrew Maurice commented, "All your pals wish you the best of luck. Enjoy every minute of it fellas. Go hammer and do us proud. See you in the spring. Safe travels!" So say we all. ❤️🔨

ANNOUNCEMENT - NEW HOME GROUND FOR THE 3S FOR 2027
Sam Randall’s promotion winning 3s will begin their campaign in 2027 not just in a new division, but also at a new ground.

The Club are pleased to announce that the 3rd XI 2027 home season will be played at Norton Sports Cricket Club, moving on from Gravesend Grammar School, for whom we thank for having us this year.

On the subject, Club Chairman Andrew Maurice (Amo) said, “the ground and the clubhouse facilities at Norton Sports CC are a big step up will really give our 3s team the opportunity to develop their cricket further.” (Enjoy the pictures of Norton Sports CC below.)

Continuing, Amo commented, “this ongoing investment is ample reward for a super side (and skipper) which is providing a fantastic pathway for our youngsters to progress into adult cricket.”

So say we all Mr Chairman !

The best of luck for the 3s in Division 12 in 2027. Looking forward to seeing the fixtures released.

75% of consumers would think twice about returning atter a poor washroom experience.
It's a reminder that washrooms play a bigger role in shaping perceptions than many organisations realise.

Customers may only spend a few minutes there, but those few minutes can influence how they feel about the building, the business and the overall experience. A well-maintained washroom rarely gets noticed. A failing one almost always does.

Reliability may not be the most visible measure of a washroom's success, but it's often one of the most important.
