Just wanted to jump on and say a massive thank you to everyone for the support, kind messages and understanding over the last 3 weeks since the crash. It’s been a longer and tougher few weeks than I expected, but the amount of support from you all has honestly meant the world to me and my family. Every message, check-in and bit of patience hasn’t gone unnoticed.

It’s really made me realise how lucky I am to coach such a great group of players and families, and how special the community we’ve built together actually is. I don’t take that for granted at all.

I’m so happy to say I’m finally back coaching from tomorrow! A new van was secured today, which was the last piece of the puzzle, and I genuinely can’t wait to get back to doing what I love.

There’s no better way to return tomorrow morning than being back out on the turf with a few academy ballers, working hard, smiling and getting back to it ⚽🔥

Just a quick update after yesterday’s accident. I’m making a good recovery and I’m okay, but I’ve got a long road ahead both mentally and physically. I’m incredibly grateful to still be here and for all the messages and support so far.

After taking some time to process everything, I wanted to be open about the situation. The crash was high impact (around 50-60mph), and while insurance will cover part of it, the excess is very high — meaning by the time they pay out, I’ll be left with very little or possibly nothing. Unfortunately, some essential equipment was also damaged in the crash, which makes getting back on the road even harder right now.

I’ve always been someone who never asks for help and prefers to be the one supporting others. But since it clearly wasn’t my time to go, I’m now asking for a bit of help back. I’ve set up a GoFundMe for anyone who’s able to support — even sharing it means more than you know. Thank you 🤍
