Mexborough tournament 14/06/26
6 teams all bidding for glory. Top 3 ,Champions league , bottom 3, Europa league.

What do they go and do.....win the champions league in style.

Playing in a system for the short sharp games the lads adapted well. At times the system means we lose a bit of bite upfront but it makes it really tough for teams to get space on the pitch. I've got to say though every man played their part in making it work !! We've seen Worldie strikes, great team goals, last ditch tackles and penalty heroics. We've had it all. I'm so pleased with so many things they did on the pitch I could go on all day. They really showed today though that the team is greater than the individual. They were a team today and I think us parents couldn't be more proud of the boys.

Our U12/U13’s team have been struggling to find a second shirt sponsor to help us buy our new kits for next season.
The Mogul Room restaurant at Sharrow Vale have very kindly sponsored our home shirts, but we’ve not been able to find an away shirt sponsor at all.

Last weekend our team held a sponsored walk, going from Charnock to Hillsborough via Bramall lane.
Even though it was quite painful for the Owls fans to be at S2 and the Blades at S6 (noses were held!!😂), the boys all did really well and they had a lot of fun on the long walk.
Even the little dogs enjoyed it!

We’ve now raised enough money for the rest of the boys kits and thanks to some other fundraising efforts we were also able to make a donation to Weston Park Cancer Charity who have kindly allowed us to use their logo on our away shirts.

Bit of a late one on this post but needs a mention! Our U8’s did a sponsored walk around Graves park to raise money towards the team pot. It was a lovely morning for it and all the lads did amazing 🤩 walking over 4 miles and raising just over £450.00 so well done team and keep up the great work. And thank you to everyone who helped out and sponsored the boys in the team it’s really appreciated. 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️
