🥋 Celebrating Every Black Belt Journey! 🖤👏

A huge congratulations to every student who stepped onto the mats and took part in our 4-hour Black Belt and Dan Grade testing!

Some students achieved their next belt, whilst others have been given areas to continue working on before they’re ready to take that next step.

Regardless of the result, I want every student to know how proud we are of you for your courage, commitment and determination.

Earning a Black Belt isn’t supposed to be easy, and sometimes the greatest growth comes from the challenges we face along the way.

One thing that meant a lot to me was seeing students who hadn’t passed still turn up today to celebrate and support their teammates. I know that can’t have been easy, and I have so much respect for you. ❤️

That’s what makes our Excel Family so special. A positive environment where we lift each other up, a supportive community where everyone belongs, and a journey that helps us grow beyond martial arts.

To every student, remember our 3 G’s of Resilience: Get Back Up, Gratitude and Go Again! 💪

🎉👏 Welcome to the Excel Family, Otis! 💙

Meet Otis, who’s just 4 years old and has officially started his martial arts journey with us at Excel! 🥋

Yesterday, Otis joined our founder, Liam Richards, for his very first 1:1 Excel Welcome Experience, and he did brilliantly!

We were so impressed with how well Otis listened, concentrated and gave everything a go as he learned our 3 Secrets of Confidence and some of the foundations of our MiniStrike programme.

We’re really excited to welcome Otis and his family to our Thursday and Saturday classes, and we can’t wait to see him grow in confidence, make new friends, find his voice and develop important life skills that will help him both inside and outside the academy.

A big thank you to Otis’s family for trusting us and investing in his development and future. It’s a privilege to be part of his journey.

Our Ministrike classes are specially designed for children aged 4–6 — helping them learn, grow and have loads of fun along the way!
