We know how often our fabulous students ask about Max & Sofiia, especially when their absence has been noticed at the studio!

No dancing clips this time around, just a little video capturing all the emotions of standing on that famous floor at the Royal Albert Hall. ✨

What a fabulous week you’ve had, guys! Rising Star Amateur Vice Champions, topped off with qualifying to dance at the Royal Albert Hall and going on to make the top 24! ✨✨✨

We are so incredibly proud of you both. All that hard work, dedication and determination, and moments like these make it all worthwhile.

🎄🤠 Yes, we know it’s only October, but Christmas will be here before we know it, and we think our line dancers deserve a Christmas party of their very own!

So, Friday 11th December is all about YOU! Our fabulous regular line dancers who turn up week after week, bring the laughs, make the friendships and have made our line dancing classes such a brilliant part of Drapers!

We’re getting the cowboy boots out for a proper Christmas knees-up! Plenty of dancing, a few drinks, lots of laughs and a chance to celebrate Christmas with the lovely people you’ve spent the year dancing alongside.

There’s something to be said for a Friday night that looks a bit like this 🍻

You’ve done a class, you’ve definitely worked up a sweat, you’ve had a laugh… and then you get to sit down afterwards with some really lovely people and have a drink.

And let’s face it, you’ve probably already danced off the calories anyway 😂

September… you were BUSY! 😅🧡

We welcomed Siobhan back to Beighton, pulled on our boots for Country Night, threw open the doors for our Open Days and kicked off a whole new term. There were exams, competitions, brand new beginners’ classes, plenty of new faces and, of course, all our regular classes in between!

We genuinely don’t think we slept 😂 but we loved every minute of it.

What a month. Right then, bring on October! 🧡🖤

Because walking into somewhere new is scary. Especially when you don’t know anyone, you’re convinced everyone else will be better than you and you’ve already rehearsed at least three excuses for not going. 😂

But then you walk through the door.

And suddenly it’s not quite so scary. You learn a few steps, get a few wrong, laugh a lot, meet some people and wonder why you spent so long talking yourself out of it.

Sometimes the hardest step really is the first one 🧡

We spend hours teaching the steps. Getting the timing right, fixing the footwork, practising until something that once felt impossible suddenly feels completely natural.

But years from now, it probably won’t be that part you remember.

It’ll be the person you always stood next to. The one who made you laugh when it all went wrong. The friendships, the nights out, the conversations between dances and all those ordinary little moments that, without you realising, became some of the best ones.

The dancing brings us together. The people are what make it matter. 🧡

One day, one team, one city, TWO events! 🧡

A huge shout out to all our competitors who danced in Stockport and Oldham today.

From first outings in new age categories, to first ever times on the competition floor, picking up trophies, overcoming nerves and simply feeling part of our dance family… no matter what your personal win was today, we are SO proud of you all.

But more than anything, we’re proud of the way you support each other. Cheering each other on, celebrating each other’s successes and showing exactly what being part of Team Drapers is all about.

Lots of different wins, lots of very proud moments, but always one team.
