BearHugs Send all the warmth and comfort of a hug straight to a loved one's door. BearHugs offers a range of gift boxes designed to uplift and comfort.

BearHugs gift packages are perfect for saying Congratulations, Get Well Soon, Thinking Of You, Happy Birthday and just about any other reason you can think of for showing someone that you care. All boxes can be sent with a personalised note card. The idea for BearHugs was born after Chief Sender of Hugs, Faye received an especially thoughtful package from a friend just when she needed it most. Having come to terms with chronic illness, Faye wanted to start something that not only gave her a purpose, but helped to spread positivity and kindness. Since July 2022, we opened up Hug Nominations to individuals as well as charity partnerships. A fun collaboration from last week… 85 gift bags for Evenbreak’s 15th birthday, each with a little BearHug inside 💌

Evenbreak is a job board that connects disabled candidates with inclusive employers. For 15 years, it has been helping disabled people find meaningful work with employers who value inclusion, while challenging the barriers that can make employment harder to access.

I first met Evenbreak’s founder, Jane, years ago when we were both receiving UnLtd support for social enterprises working to bridge the disability employment gap. BearHugs and Evenbreak share a lot of the same values around inclusion, accessibility and creating opportunities for talented people looking for inclusive employment.

So when Meg at Evenbreak got in touch about creating some extra-special gifts for birthday event attendees, it was an immediate “thank you, yes please!”
