What a way to end a magnificent season for the club. Winning the Men’s County Club Championship for the second year running. This seasons many achievements, individually, jointly, teams, men’s and ladies successes are all too numerous to list.
The team today were encouraged on with great support, not only by our own members but many visitors too. A wonderful finale created a very special atmosphere. Thanks to all the helpers and New Lount Bowls Club for making a great final game to the season.

Some of our Ladies celebrating their win as part of the Leicestershire team contesting the Johns Trophy at the National Championships today. Congratulations Champions!

Our Unbadged Men were victorious this morning against Leicester Bowls club in the County Semi final winning by a solitary shot! Great scrapping by our guys provided the result we wanted.
As always, many thanks to our travelling support and Birstall Bowls Club for the use of their facilities.

2 Wood Singles competition day and photos of our finalists & winners. Some excellent bowling and close finish’s kept the supporters enthralled throughout all the rounds. The Men’s final was between Tom Alcock Glyn Jones with Glyn coming out on top. The Ladies was between Sue van Woerden Jackiex Jonesx with Jackie victorious. A good day for the Jones’ household😃
A big thanks to Sean Weadock for organising the games & Erica, Karen & Penny for keeping us all fed and watered.
