Thank You, Sue 💜

At yesterday’s East Midlands Netball AGM, we also said a fond farewell to Sue Connor as she officially stepped down from her role as Vice Chair.

Sue’s contribution to netball in the East Midlands spans more than 50 years, during which she has dedicated countless hours to supporting, developing and championing the game in a wide variety of roles. A truly inspirational member of any team who checks and challenges with an open equitable attitude always.

Sue’s dedication to the sport is recognised through her status as an England Netball Honorary Life Member, a fitting tribute to the extraordinary service she has given to netball over many decades.

While Sue may be stepping away from her official role, her influence on the East Midlands netball community will be felt for years to come. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done and the difference she has made to so many people across our region.

Thank you, Sue, for your remarkable contribution to East Midlands Netball and the wider netball family. We wish you all the very best for the future. 💜

Thank You, Liz 💜

Yesterday at the East Midlands Netball AGM, we officially said a heartfelt farewell to Liz Alsop as she stepped down from her role as Regional Treasurer earlier this year.

For decades, Liz has been a dedicated and trusted supporter of netball across our region. Her commitment, expertise and unwavering support have played a huge part in the success of East Midlands Netball, and she leaves some very big shoes to fill.

Liz's contribution has been enormously valued, and she will be greatly missed by everyone involved in netball throughout the East Midlands.

Thank you, Liz, for everything you have done for our region. We wish you all the very best for the future. 💜
