As part of the fantastic Skipton Multisport Festival with The Brownlee Foundation, Craven Energy and Skipton Cycling Club, a series of Trail Runs hosted by Skipton AC, will be based around picturesque Aireville Park, formally the landscaped garden created in the 1830s by Henry Allcock as part of the Aireville Estate later owned by the Dewhursts, a Skipton textile mill family. Their house, Grade 2 listed Aireville Hall, is now part of Skipton Academy.

The routes will comprise canal-side paths and tree-lined grassy parkland and will be a mix of flat running with some challenging hills.

The races for Juniors will take place during the morning of Saturday 23rd May. There will be four races for Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s.

There will be an 8 kilometre Trail Race for Seniors and Juniors aged 15+ in the early afternoon of Saturday 23rd May

Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May*.
The Brownlee Foundation have kindly offered to help us hold a sporting festival in Aireville Park over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend.
With support from Skipton Athletics Club, Skipton Cycling and Craven Energy Triathlon Clubs we’ll have run, cycling and triathlon events for children and adults of all abilities over the weekend.
The team at Skipton BID are helping us with a Festival Village in the park; with food, drink and entertainment we will have a great atmosphere for you to come and cheer friends and family on !
If you would like to take part please enter below, if you would like to help us with the event (either volunteer as a race marshal or be part of the festival village) please get in touch !
*Run and cycle races will be on Saturday, Triathlons on the Sunday (early notice that a section of Gargrave Road from Harewood Road to the Leisure Centre Entrance will be closed for the day)
