Copt Heath Golf Club Copt Heath Golf Club combines the history and tradition of a golf course that first opened in 1907 with modern facilities and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

As well as our course, we also offer some of the finest facilities in the Midlands with a variety of private rooms, relaxing bars and spacious eating areas, any one of which could be the perfect setting for your event, whether a formal business gathering or a private celebration.

This morning, Claire Dowling drove in as the first ever female Captain of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews. A truly historic moment, and thoroughly deserved. Four Curtis Cup appearances, part of the GB&I team that beat the USA on American soil for the first time in 1986, five Irish Championships, and one of the most respected referees, having officiated at The Open several times. Claire is a member here, and we're proud to have a small connection to a truly remarkable career.

With the Walker Cup underway at Lahinch, a fact worth remembering closer to home. We remain the only club to have provided the GB&I captain for both the Walker Cup and Curtis Cup at the same time, Peter McEvoy in 1999 and 2001, and Claire Dowling in 2000. Not many clubs can say that and it is something we are incredibly proud of.
