From Friday 2nd October, we'll be opening the Hub bar on a Friday night to give the local community another place to meet, have a drink and enjoy the start of the weekend. We're a community charity, so by supporting the Hub you're also helping us provide sport, activities and facilities for the community of Queensferry!

We also have lots more to look forward to, with details coming soon about:

NEW PARENT AND BABY CLASS

We are excited to be trialing our first 6 week block of parent and baby fitness class at Queensferry Sports & Community Hub.

Come along and enjoy a 45 min workout.
Meet other parents and take some time to focus on you and your fitness and wellbeing. While your little one stays close by and comfortable in their pram.

Whether you are looking to get moving again, improve your fitness, boost your mood or simply meet other parents we'd love to have you join us.

We are delighted to share that LFA T'ai Chi & Wellbeing is offering two new four-week introductory courses at the Hub this autumn.

A game well played yesterday by all, despite such short notice. Thank you to all the players who came together last minute and thank you to Leith for doing the same with good grace. PLEASE NOTE - HUB CAR PARK RED OUTLINED SPACES!

Further to notice below posted on Facebook on 21st August, it would appear that some of the red lined spaces are being used by non school staff. I am sure this is an oversight but can we please remind all users and visitors that the red outlined spaces numbered 1-26 are for the use of Queensferry High School staff only between the hours of 830 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday - many thanks!

Hub Car Park - UPDATE!
Further to post below giving advance notice to parking arrangements at the Hub Car Park, we confirm that the Queensferry High School staff are now using the red outlined spaces numbered 1-26. We would be grateful if all Hub users could use other spaces between the hours of 8:30 and 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Outwith these hours and days the red outlined spaces are available for all Hub users.
As explained below, this initiative has been introduced to help reduce staff parking on surrounding residential streets and support the wider local community. It is on a trial basis, if you have any feed back please do share it with us.

Car Park Update – Advance Notice
You may notice that 26 parking spaces in the Hub car park have recently been outlined in red.
From the return of school staff in August, these spaces will be reserved for High School staff between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This initiative has been introduced to help reduce staff parking on surrounding residential streets and support the wider local community.
These hours generally coincide with a quieter period for Hub usage, so we do not anticipate any significant impact on parking availability for members and visitors.
Importantly, outside of 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, all parking spaces will remain available for use by Hub members and visitors as normal, including during our busier evenings and weekends.
Please note that this arrangement will not come into effect until school staff return in August. Appropriate signage will be installed before then. In the meantime, the red markings have no relevance and everyone should continue to park as usual.
