Don't forget - End of Season Presentation is tomorrow!!

🏫 Venue: Southchurch High School on the field (you are permitted to bring gazebos but these must be set up at the back of the presentation area)

🚗 Car Park gates will open at 12:15, please do not arrive earlier than this.

🧺 From 12:15 -13:00 you are invited to bring a picnic should you wish to before awards begin. (If you will not be doing a picnic please arrive no later than 12.45)

🏆Awards begin 13:00

Please bring blankets or camping chairs or similar to sit on during awards. Please make sure any chairs are set up are considerate to others.

🏰 There will be time for the kids to run riot on the bouncy castle, beat the keeper and more.

Two Players of the Game for last Sunday!

First is Macey, who scored the decisive goal. Her first touch, turn and footwork bamboozled their defence before calmly slotted home the winner.

Our second is Tilda, who was outstanding. She marshalled their no7 and anyone else who came her way, and in the closing minutes showed real intelligence to spot the danger developing and move across to clear it.

Well deserved girls!! 👏⚽💙

Southend Wanderers Girls are recruiting current Yr 7 players ready for next season’s U13s team.

We’re looking to add a couple of mid/high-level players with big hearts to join our successful team, playing in the ECGL (Sunday) and who train Saturdays and midweek.

We’d love to show you more about what we’re building and what the girls are achieving together.

A thunderous 2-1 win against a very tough team who sit third in our league ! From the start our girls were full of energy and infectious enthusiasm which spread to the bench too - all 14 girls were fired up for this game and gave a performance of a lifetime out there.

Each and every one deserved the girl of the game nod today for the sheer determination and togetherness they all showed for one another.

Player of the Game was Ronnie with some unbelievable saves and great consistency throughout in a 1-0 defeat to the u12 girls. 💙👏⚽️

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝟏𝟐 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬
There were so many strong performances so choosing Player of the Game was tough, but Georgie and Georgina get my vote. Both showed real maturity, were excellent positionally, and were vocal throughout. ⚽🙌 💙

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝟏𝟐 𝐘𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬
The yellows today had a team POTG award. An excellent 0-0 draw today where everyone showed hard work, grit, determination and most importantly teamwork leading to a well earned point that all the boys should be extremely proud of! 😊💙⚽

𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝟗'𝐬
Our Player of the Game today was Reggie. Really put in a shift down the right hand side supporting the attack and helping the defence. An scored an absolutely worldie with his weaker foot keep up the hard work reg you have had an amazing season ⚽️👏⚽️
