And boy, are we looking forward to our heat race (HR.1) later today at 5pm. With a British Superbike Championship BMW Motorrad UK F900r career best qualifying for Liam Vella , he starts on 4th place on the grid. He's eyeing up the silverware.....

Jordan Ashington had an equally fabulous qualifying, with him sat comfortably in 9th place. A few tweeks here and there, had the bike on rails.

Ben Rybicki put on an amazing performance, to end up 12th on the grid. Running on old wets, for better initial feel, well, just fab.

Well done Joel Haire Racing . After only being able to compete in 2 of 5 rounds, you still took 3rd place in the championship. 6 races, 1x win, 5x 2nd. It's a shame you were injured and not able to complete the whole series, still, just shows what might have been.... never mind. British Superbike Championship beckons for 2027. ...

🏁Mondello Masters moto one, 3rd overall 🏁🥉

Absolutely delighted with this. First season Racing at Mondello Park for Principal Insurance Masters Superbike Championship moto 1 class.
I only participated in the first two rounds of the championship (6 races) so to still manage 3rd in the championship is brilliant.

We are thrilled to officially announce, that for the 2027 season, Joel Haire of Joel Haire Racing will be staying with 2strokesracing, and moving to the British Superbike Championship paddock.

We are more or less there on sorting out which class and bike, however, the current Ulster Superbike Championship Moto1 Championship leader (having graduated from the Irish Minibike Championship - winning 3x national champioships) will be bringing his smooth style, late braking, and cheeky smile to a race circuit near you.

Having never raced at any major English Circuits, Joel said (completely in his own, unscripted words) "Honestly, I'm over the moon, and have no words for it; I just want to say thank you to you (Pete) and Tracey and 2Strokesracing (and it's sponsors), my mum, my dad, auntie Kell and everyone else, and AKR for always having my back this year. Honestly, it's been a tough few weeks, but, we'll try and get going again, and Yeah ! " This, from a very mature sounding young man.

Joel's parents said "We are so incredibly proud of Joel, and how he handles and performs on and off track, this past year has handed him situations in which he has to show his maturity, at just 13. We can't wait to get over to BSB with the rest of the 2strokesracing team and take on a whole new challenge, one in which we think Joel will take in his stride and enjoy the experience. It's a big step for us all, but we're all very excited. Can't thank 2strokesracing and its sponsors as well as Joel's personal sponsors enough for all they do. We are proud parents "

Team manager Pete has been working away behind the scenes, and was quoted as saying, he thinks that the finances for the season are more or less in place, however, until the season starts there is still plenty of work to do. Plus we have 2026 to finish off....

The remaining team lineup for 2027 is still to be finalised/ announced.

Happy Mondays. Who doesn't like a Happy Monday?

Today, the team certainly are happy, as we are on the cone down from a proper belter of a weekend.

With the British Superbike Championship BMW Motorrad UK F900r team riders, Liam Vella Ben Rybicki and Jordan Ashington having had their best ever individual and team finish, we think they are well placed to be smiling today! Thruxton Race Circuit , you certainly delivered the goods.

With great qualifying and heat races to boot, we cannot wait to go again in 2 weeks (well, 11 days...) at the CADWELL PARK CIRCUIT UK "Party in the Park".

Busy weekend ahead...

You'll find the team, at race circuit this weekend, taking part in the British Superbike Championship BMW Motorrad UK F900r Cup.

With FP1 & FP2 completed, riders best positions to today were Liam Vella (13th), Ben Rybicki (22nd) and Jordan Ashington (26th). Qualifying is at 9.00am in the morning, with heat races starting at 12.20.

We know we are going to get some fab results ; the lads have always enjoyed it here !
