A big thank you to Portsmouth Creates for a brilliant Wellbeing at Work day for creatives yesterday. 💜

It was lovely to meet and connect with other local creatives and businesses, listen to some really interesting talks, and share a little about what I do at Anchor the Magic — sound healing, Reiki and transformational coaching for wellbeing and personal growth.

You don’t have to wait until you’re burnt out to start looking after yourself.

Sometimes we’re so used to getting on with things that we don’t notice how much we’re carrying.

Work.
Life.
Other people’s needs.
The constant mental to-do list.

We just keep going.

But wellbeing isn’t only about what you do when you’re struggling.

It’s also about creating space to pause, breathe and reconnect before you reach that point.

That’s something I’m particularly passionate about — which is why I’m at the Portsmouth Creates - Wellbeing at work, sharing how sound, Reiki, tuning forks and transformational coaching can support wellbeing in different ways 💜

When did you last give yourself an hour where you didn’t have to do anything?

No emails.

No jobs to tick off.

No one needing anything from you.

Just an hour to lie down, close your eyes and switch off from the outside world.

That’s what I love about a sound bath.

You don’t need to know how to meditate.
You don’t need to clear your mind.
You don’t need to do anything “right”.

You simply get comfortable and let the sounds wash over you.

✨ My next Southsea sound baths are on Friday 9 October and Monday 12 October.

A productive week behind the scenes ✨

I’ve been busy turning lots of ideas into something real…

💫 My new coaching leaflets are ready — for women who know they want something to change, but aren’t quite sure what’s next.

🎶 My Tuning for Health leaflets are ready too — sharing the six-week programme designed to help you pause, listen and connect.

💼 And I’ve created my new Sound for the Workplace PDF, taking my sound healing into the workplace to support wellbeing, relaxation and a little breathing space in busy working days.

It feels good to see all these different pieces of Anchor the Magic coming together — from personal transformation and healing to workplace wellbeing.

A busy few days for Anchor the Magic 💜

I’m taking my sound, Reiki and transformational coaching work out into the real world this weekend and next week.

✨ Saturday: I’ll be at a holistic fair with my stand, sharing what I do and offering the chance to come and have a chat.

✨ Tuesday: I’ll be at the Portsmouth Creates Wellbeing at Work exhibition, connecting with local businesses.

Two very different events, but both are a lovely opportunity to meet people, talk about wellbeing, and share what Anchor the Magic is all about.

If you’re going to either event, come and say hello!

Every visit helps raise funds for Parkinson’s so you can feel good and do good.

I’ll be there offering sound and Reiki healing, and sharing information about the Tuning for Health program and transformational coaching
