2 years on, I can honestly say, I didn’t really have much of a clue how it would turn out. But it has way surpassed my expectations in terms of how much enjoyment I’ve had from racing in that time. I definitely didn’t think I would have had quite as much success as I’ve had.

OTD 30 years ago!! Paul Jones Memorial meeting at Chasewater. Which sadly isn’t there anymore.
Had one of the best races I’ve ever had, to this day. With my old mate, and the master of Chasewater! Simon Rodgers (although we definitely weren’t mates at the time! 🥴😂)
Traded places for the win almost every lap. I edged it that day, but it could’ve gone either way.
Had a mega kart thanks to Stuart Mc Farlane. 👍🏼👍🏼

Really looking forward to going racing again after a long break between rounds. Just need a nice clean weekend. 👍🏼

Paul Mousell leads the Compact Cup contingent heading into the final two events of the season. The provisional top five after Cadwell Park is:

1️⃣ Paul Mousell – 445 points
2️⃣ Matt Kendall – 407 points
3️⃣ Xabier Ross – 399 points
4️⃣ Aaron Tipler – 384 points
5️⃣ Tim Seaford – 362 points

There are six races still to run, meaning one difficult weekend could change the picture completely.

Small grid, but maxed out the weekend. Pole, 3 race wins, lead every lap and 3 fastest laps. Car ran without issue all weekend. Which was nice after quite a few over the last couple of rounds.
Thank you to Clive Brookson and Matt Parkes Motorsport for their service this weekend. Aaron Phipps for all his work prepping the car ahead of the weekend. Antinox Floor Protection, Rednal Tyres Limited and Venture body repairs for all their help and support.

Got the maximum I could from today. Qualified on pole, race win by 8 seconds, and fastest lap. Hopefully the same again tomorrow!! 🤞🏼

Sadly a very depleted grid this weekend. 🤷🏻‍♂️
But qualified on pole by 2.2secs. Managed to go 1.5secs quicker than I managed weds evening.
