Team selections are in for another big weekend of cricket!

The 1st XI travel to Albert Park to take on in Western Premiership Two, while the 2nd XI are back at New Williamfield to face in Western Championship One.

A special welcome back to .fountain , who returns to the 2nd XI squad for this weekend’s fixture. Great to see Theo back in County colours! 🔵🔴

Best of luck to both teams as they look to put in strong performances and bring home the points.

A challenging weekend for Stirling County Cricket Club.

The 1st XI faced a tough contest away to in Western Premiership Two. Vipul Ramteke led the bowling attack brilliantly with figures of 3-22, while Sudip Talukder and Nithishraj Saravanan picked up two wickets each to restrict Helensburgh to 224-8.

In reply, Sudip Talukder top-scored with 37, but Stirling County were bowled out for 116, resulting in a 108-run defeat.

The 2nd XI also battled hard against in Western Championship One. Strong bowling performances from Rukman Hewage and Deon Du Preez, both claiming 3 wickets, along with Karan Karthikeyan’s 2 wickets, helped bowl Ayr out for 215.

Shreyas Salunke fought hard with 27 in the chase, but Stirling County were bowled out for 105, falling to a 110-run defeat.

A tough weekend, but plenty to learn from as we continue to work hard and bounce back stronger.
