Stirling Wolves Ice Hockey Club

Now that the dust has settled from the weekend, we can look back on it and take some positives. After being relegated in 2024 due to squad injuries and suspensions, then winning the Quaich, and coming back up to the Plate this season, we made a good account of ourselves making it to the semi-finals.

Only one loss for the Wolves this weekend and sadly it came when it mattered most - the semi final.

Congratulations to the Hawks on their Plate victory and also to the runners up Kirkcaldy Kings for their promotion to the Scottish Cup.

Thanks to the off ice volunteers for running a smooth and successful weekend!

Thanks to all the referrees throughout the season for their hard work ensuring we are all able to play the game we love!

The Wolves wish a speedy recovery to Sean Griffin and Gary McGuire who both suffered injuries requiring hospital treatment during last nights win vs the Pirates.

We’re still awaiting confirmation on the extent of their injuries but are sure it won’t be long before we see them both flying (running in Gary’s case) on the ice soon💪

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to all the staff from The Peak,spectators and players who provided first aid / stayed behind to help. It is greatly appreciated! 🐺
