🐍 Vipers Match Report 🐍

1st Quarter — Vipers 11–3 Jaguars

What a start! The Vipers came out firing, turning the pressure on from the very first whistle. Some excellent shooting kept the scoreboard ticking over, while the whole team worked hard to build an early lead of 11–3.

2nd Quarter — Vipers 20–11 Jaguars

The Vipers continued to go from strength to strength. Our defence was working overtime, creating vital turnovers and giving the attack plenty of opportunities to convert. Another 9 goals were added to the Vipers’ tally as we headed into half-time firmly in control.

3rd Quarter — Vipers 27–13 Jaguars

Some superb defending really came to the forefront in the third. The Vipers kept the Jaguars to just 2 goals, while adding another 7 of our own. The pressure was relentless, and the Vipers headed into the final quarter with a fantastic advantage.

4th Quarter — Vipers 32–23 Jaguars

Both teams started to tire in the final quarter, but the Vipers’ early lead proved crucial. We kept our heads, continued to work hard and held onto the advantage to finish with a 32–23 victory!

Player of the match awards 🧡💙

⭐ Opposition Player — Alice

Alice absolutely smashed it! Not only did she cause all sorts of problems for the Jaguars, but this was also her first ever game with the Vipers! You certainly wouldn’t have guessed it. What a way to start her Vipers journey!

🛡️ Captain’s Player — Amy-Rose

Her arms were EVERYWHERE! Amy-Rose was turning the ball over left, right and centre and put on an absolute masterclass of defence. A well-deserved Captain’s Player!

🏅 Team’s Players — Danni & Tor

An excellent performance from the whole team left us completely torn when it came to choosing our Team’s Player… so there was only one thing for it — a joint award!

Danni — Her shooting was absolutely on fire, keeping the scoreboard constantly ticking over and putting away those crucial goals.

Tor — Starting her Vipers journey with a blast! Her presence on court caused all sorts of problems for the opposition, and her support in bringing the ball up the court was perfectly timed.
