😳 5 years of Edge Physio!!!!

🫣The time has gone SO fast but the start also seems like a lifetime ago!

🤷‍♂️ So what’s happened over the 5 years? Well…!!!!

⚽️ 5 years ago I took the decision to leave professional football after 8 years & jump into setting my own clinic.
🤷‍♂️ Really didn’t know what I was doing.
💡 But being from Sudbury, I knew that a Sports Physio was needed!
😷 COVID hit
⏰ So 8 months later than planned, Edge Physio opened.
😩 Full masks, gloves, plastic gowns, covid screenings etc.
🙌 But clinic got busier & you all championed it.
🫣 Still didn’t really know how business works.
🏠 Time to move away from a room in town.
🖥️ Still working from home as an online physio while clinic kept growing.
🏋️‍♂️ Linked up with gyms and local PTs to help their clients.
🏂 Went to Holland, Finland & Spain with the GB Paralympic snowboard legends.
😵‍💫 Clinic got busy so I went FULL TIME on my own.
🤣 Still figuring out business life.
🏠 Moved room again to a bigger room with a window!
🌱 Clinic grew to be fully booked on a consistent basis.
🏂 Went to Canada with the GB Snowsport legends
🏠 So after another year, another room move….
🆙 This time, upstairs with 2 clinic rooms!
🧍‍♂️ Employed a new physio, Adam, to begin his physio journey and bring his expertise to clinic.
👌 Still trying to figure out the business world.

🤔 So what next??????

👀 Well, 2 working clinic rooms in Sudbury to help as many of you as we can. BUT…. we are always on the lookout for other spaces —> so keep your eyes very much open!!!

😳 Clinic has gone from little old me having 3-4 appointments a week, to fully booked, to needing 2 clinic rooms and potentially looking elsewhere…

😂 I might need some extra hands soon, this is getting bigger than just a one man band doing everything from my own website to cleaning!

🤚 So if you’re a Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist, I am keen to hear from you if you’re keen to gradually grow a caseload at Edge Physio.
