And now our SURFS update
We are excited to let you know that last years Youth off field coaches & management team have agreed to follow our Youth players into senior rugby and will take the reins of the SURFS. Great continuity for the boys stepping up, providing an enthusiastic positive team to guide them, along with our loyal more experienced players to compete in league and cup fixtures. The squad are also supported behind the scenes by club physio Kev Munson.
It would be remiss not a say a huge thank you to everyone who gives their time behind the scenes during training and indeed on match day. This is where everything just happens through our volunteers for little or no reward just because it’s for the club. 💚💚

On Saturday as well as awards presented to players for the 2025/2026 season we were also able to present two senior stalwarts of Swansea Uplands RFC with our new caps.
Caps are a recognition of loyalty & commitment of players who have pulled on the green & white jersey for the 1st XV senior squad. Tom Edmunds & Dan Stephens would certainly bleed green never having worn the jersey of any other club. Both have come through or Junior Section and are a great example of what being a clubman is all about. Thank you both we look forward to you reaching the next landmark appearances.
Pictured is Tom being presented with his 250th cap & Dan with his 200th cap by Club Chairman Peter Evans.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday night and making great night of celebration at our Annual Presentation Evening.
It was a great evening celebrating the achievements of our 1st XV for the 2025/2026 season. The boys have as always worked hard during the season and results have proved that with the 1st XV coming third up in their first year in Division One West.
The senior squad’s dedication and enthusiasm has been immense at training and games which is done whilst juggling the pressures and responsibilities of family and work commitments. The majority of the senior squad came through our Mini and Junior Sections which displays huge loyalty to the Green Machine.
Thanks also go to Paul Cullen & his team for a mouthwatering formal BBQ & dessert menu and also to Mike, Ruby & Lynette who kept us refreshed for the evening.
It was indeed an amazing evening with much laughter, song and dance led by the senior squad but not before the award winners were announced as follows:-
1st XV
Coaches Player of the Year – Peter Anson Sponsored by Gas South Wales
Unfortunately, Peter was unable to make the evening Head Coach Lewis Eynon made the announcement and spoke about Pete’s achievements and contribution this season to the squad
Supporters Player of the Year – Kieron Morris
Unfortunately Kieron was also unable to make the evening. Pictured Dan Stephens accepting the award on Kieron's behalf from 1st Team Manager Wayne Jervis.

Huge congratulations to all the award winners but also to everyone who pulls on the green & white strips you are all winners thank you.
