Most parents bring their child to gymnastics expecting them to learn physical skills.

But one of the biggest changes we see happens somewhere you can’t actually see…

Every time a child works out how to get over an obstacle…
Figures out how to climb something they’ve never climbed before…
Or keeps trying after something doesn’t go quite right…

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴:
💡 “I can figure things out.”
💡 “I can try a different way.”
💡 “I don’t have to give up just because it’s difficult.”

Those lessons don’t just help in gymnastics.
📚 When they’re learning to read.
🤝 When they’re making friends.
🌟 When they’re faced with challenges at school.

For young children, movement isn’t just exercise.

🏆✨ A Rhythmic Competition Catch-Up! ✨🏆

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of competitions, so we’re a little behind on our celebrations! 🤯

At the end of May, our gymnasts headed to the English Espoir Championships and produced some fantastic performances. A special mention goes to our Espoir Diamonds group, who secured a Bronze Medal 🥉, and to Jamie, who won a Silver Medal in the U10 Ball competition 🥈.

Last weekend saw our gymnasts competing at both the Welsh Championships and the Bath Open.

A huge congratulations to Amelie, who became the Vice Welsh Champion 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 in the Senior category! 🥈👏 What a fantastic and well-deserved achievement.

Meanwhile, at the Bath Open, every single Evoke gymnast competing, both individuals and groups, came home with a medal. 🏅🤩 An incredible reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment shown by both the gymnasts and coaches throughout the season.

Most importantly, we are proud of every gymnast who stepped onto the competition floor. Competing takes courage, commitment and countless hours of training, and it’s wonderful to see all that hard work paying off.

🇧🇬 BURGAS WORLD CUP & INTERNATIONAL ACRO CUP 🇧🇬

A huge congratulations to our partnerships on an excellent weekend of competition in Burgas! 👏✨

🥈 Jess & Lydia delivered fantastic routines at the World Cup to finish in 2nd place overall, behind Israel and ahead of the Russian pair. An outstanding achievement! 🇬🇧💪
🥈 Chloe & Kailen, representing both Evoke Gymnastics and , performed strong routines at the Burgas International Acro Cup and also secured a fantastic 2nd place finishing behind Israel. 👏

We are very proud of both partnerships and all the hard work, commitment and dedication that has gone into these performances.
A big thank you to the coaches, choreographers and parents for their continued support.

Huge congratulations to Rosie on representing Great Britain at the European Championships last week! 🤸‍♀️🇬🇧

Earning a place on the Junior British Team is a testament to the countless hours of training, dedication and determination Rosie has put into her journey so far. To step onto the European stage and compete amongst some of the best gymnasts in the world is an incredible achievement, and we are immensely proud of the courage, resilience and fight she showed on the carpet. Unfortunately, this time there was a mistake in the routine, but sport at the highest level is full of challenges and learning opportunities. What matters is how we respond, and we know that Rosie will learn from this experience and become even stronger.

Representing Great Britain at a European Championships is something to be incredibly proud of, and Rosie has earned her place there through years of hard work, commitment and perseverance. 🇬🇧✨

Congratulations also to the rest of the talented British team for putting your hearts into every performance and representing your country with such passion and determination. To the coaches and judges, thank you for the incredible support you gave the girls and one another in helping everyone achieve their best. 💙❤️🤍
